Who Is Dr. Bruce Lipton?

On today’s episode, we welcome back Dr. Bruce Lipton, a cellular biologist, bestselling author of The Biology of Belief, and longtime explorer of how biology, belief and consciousness are connected.

This is a wide-open conversation. Bruce talks about the power of belief, the programs running beneath our awareness, a health scare that changed how he works, and what he sees ahead for humanity. As always, these are Bruce’s views and experiences, shared in conversation.

Why Negative Beliefs Are Just as Powerful as Positive Ones

Most of us have heard of the placebo effect, where believing in a treatment can help. Bruce points to its shadow twin, the nocebo effect, where believing in a bad outcome can hurt. He says negative thinking is every bit as strong as positive thinking, and that a prognosis delivered as certainty can land in the mind like a prescription.

His takeaway is hopeful, though. If belief can work in that direction, Bruce says it can work in the other direction too. He also says we have been taught to feel powerless, when in his view we are far more capable than we have been led to believe.

Two Minds, One Life

Bruce explains that we have two minds. The conscious mind is the creative, thinking, wishing mind, linked to the prefrontal cortex. The subconscious mind, in his words, is like a hard drive full of programs that run automatically.

He says the subconscious handles about 90 percent of what the brain does, and that we spend roughly 95 percent of the day lost in thought, which means we are mostly on autopilot. He also says that about 60 percent of those stored programs are disempowering. In his view, that is why good intentions often lose to old habits.

The practical point: you cannot fix what you cannot see. The first step is simply noticing when a program is running.

The First Seven Years: A Download From Everyone Around Us

Where do the programs come from? Bruce says children spend their first seven years in a theta brain state, a kind of recording mode, so they absorb the beliefs and behaviors of parents, family and community without questioning them. He mentions the old Jesuit saying about being given a boy until age seven.

He shares a personal example. Bruce says a dysfunctional program from his own childhood kept him from sustaining a relationship for about 40 years. Today he and his partner, Margaret, have been together for 32 years. After an early argument, they agreed never to fight and instead to point out each other’s negative programs with care. That agreement, he says, changed everything.

Bruce’s Cancer Story

Bruce says that about two and a half years ago, an ENT found cancer in his tongue. He shares that he sees it as a symptom of stress and of putting off the book he knew he needed to write, his theory of evolution. He adds that he believes lifestyle and consciousness play a far larger role in illness than genes alone.

He says that as he wrote, his scans moved from malignant to benign to no visible tumor. The tumor had wrapped around a nerve, and he says he is still rebuilding tongue muscle. This is one person’s account, not medical advice. If you are facing a health concern, please work with a qualified doctor.

Beyond Darwin: Cooperation Over Competition

That book is Beyond Darwin. Bruce says it reached the New York Times bestseller list in its first week, and that his goal is to reach people beyond the choir, the ones still sleepwalking through life.

His central idea is that nature is more like a garden than a battlefield. He argues that competition has been overemphasized, and that cooperation is what lets life thrive. He points to examples from nature, including dolphins caring for a sick member of their pod, as signs of what he calls a nurturing instinct built into living things.

Stress, Food and the Body: What Bruce Says

Bruce says that over 90 percent of the health crisis, in his view, comes from stress and lifestyle rather than genes. The conversation moves into food and aging. He shares his belief that the human body could live far longer than most of us do, and he says we are eating too much and too often.

Alex shares his own experience with juice fasting and intermittent fasting. Bruce adds an important caution: do not just stop eating, because that can be a withdrawal. He recommends quality food, farmers’ markets, and simple staples like rice and beans. Please treat all of this as conversation, not medical guidance.

Humanity at a Crossroads

Bruce says humanity is using the resources of about 1.6 planets, and that this cannot continue. He traces how fear and control have shaped history, from rulers who controlled through force, to resources, to knowledge, and he says the idea of hell came from the same fear-based toolbox.

His answer is not to fight the old system. He cites Buckminster Fuller, who said to build a new model that makes the old one obsolete. As an example of cooperation in action, Bruce tells the story of Tunisia after the Arab Spring, where women in parliament started from middle ground and helped shape a constitution that earned a Nobel Prize.

He also talks about balance between masculine and feminine energies and honors the Native American Council of Grandmothers and the idea of the children’s fire, which looks seven generations ahead.

Reincarnation, the Body as a TV and “Earth Is Heaven”

After forty years as a materialist scientist, Bruce describes how his view opened up. He says each of us has a self receptor, like a signature on a cell, and that the body works like a television set while you are the broadcast. When the set stops, he says, the signal does not.

From there he shares his understanding of reincarnation. He says we are immortal spirit fields, that karma shifts the frequency we broadcast, and that the body is a manifestation mechanism that lets us experience this world. His memorable line: Earth is heaven.

Ways to Apply This Episode

  • Notice your autopilot. When you react strongly, ask whether it is a current choice or an old program.
  • Name programs with someone you trust. Bruce and Margaret point them out with love, not blame.
  • Tend your own backyard. Bruce echoes the Serenity Prayer and the oxygen mask idea: steady yourself first, then help others.
  • Put knowledge to use. He and Alex both stress that learning means little until you apply it.
  • Choose cooperation. Look for one place this week where you can build with others instead of competing.

A Closing Moment of Peace

The episode ends on a quiet note. Bruce shares his trust in people over governments, corporations and religions, and points listeners to his website for free resources. It is a gentle reminder that the power is within you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is Dr. Bruce Lipton?

Dr. Bruce Lipton is a cellular biologist and the bestselling author of The Biology of Belief. His new book is Beyond Darwin. In this episode he shares how he thinks beliefs, the subconscious mind and our environment shape health and behavior.

What is the subconscious mind, according to Bruce Lipton?

Bruce says the subconscious mind is the part of us that runs learned programs automatically, like a hard drive. He says it handles roughly 90 percent of brain activity, while the conscious mind is the creative, wishing and thinking part.

Why does Bruce say the first seven years of life matter so much?

Bruce says children spend their early years in a state of brain activity that works like a download, so they absorb the beliefs and behaviors of the people around them. He says those programs then run quietly for decades unless we notice them and change them.

Can negative beliefs affect our health, according to Bruce?

Bruce says negative beliefs can be just as powerful as positive ones, and he compares them to the nocebo effect, the opposite of the placebo effect. His view is that a frightening prognosis, taken as truth, can work like a prescription. This is his perspective, not medical advice.

What does Bruce share about his own cancer experience?

Bruce says an ENT found cancer in his tongue about two and a half years ago. He describes it as a wake-up call about stress and about a book he felt he had to write. He says his scans improved as he wrote it. Please treat this as one person’s story and talk with your own doctor about your health.

What is Beyond Darwin about?

Bruce says Beyond Darwin challenges the idea that life is mainly about competition and survival of the fittest. He argues that cooperation and community have always been central to how life evolves, and that humanity can choose a more cooperative path.

Does Bruce Lipton believe in reincarnation?

Yes. Bruce explains his view that the body is like a television set and each of us is the broadcast. He says we are immortal spirit, that the body is a way for spirit to experience Earth, and that when a body ends, the signal continues.

What does Bruce mean by humanity being at a crossroads?

Bruce says we can keep living in ways he calls unsustainable, driven by fear, control and competition, or we can build something cooperative. He points to Buckminster Fuller’s idea of creating a new model rather than fighting the old one.

How can I start changing my own subconscious programs?

Bruce suggests first noticing when you are running on autopilot. He and his partner Margaret agreed to point out negative programs to each other instead of arguing. He also encourages tending your own backyard first, then helping others from a steadier place.

Where can I learn more about Bruce Lipton?

Bruce shares free resources on his official website, brucelipton.com, and his books are linked in the guest links above. You can also hear him on Episode 425 and Episode 160 of the Next Level Soul Podcast.

Is there anything in our future that scares you?

Bruce Lipton 0:03
People don't change. The writing on the wall is the end. We are facing an inevitable crash. You have to take care of your health if you want to be a participant in the game. The programs make me feel like I'm a victim. 90 plus percent of the health crisis is due to one thing: stress. People think cancer is a problem. I want to acknowledge it. Cancer is a symptom of a problem.

Alex Ferrari 0:36
Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do something, or even think, "Should I do this? You never thought about it. You just did it.

Bruce Lipton 0:43
So my suggestion, people, please listen.

Alex Ferrari 0:56
I like to welcome back to the show returning champion Bruce Lipton.

Bruce Lipton 1:01
Did I win?

Alex Ferrari 1:02
You won. You won just by being here.

Bruce Lipton 1:05
I'm so happy to be here. I just want to say how much I appreciate your work because civilization is facing an evolution, and to get through it requires knowledge. Knowledge is power, and your program to me is very important because you are feeding knowledge to a public that is in desperate need to learn how to move from where we are to where we can go.

Alex Ferrari 1:30
Well, first of all, thank you so much, and I appreciate you saying those kind words, and I appreciate you coming down to Next Level Soul Studios. I've been wanting to do this since the first time we spoke. I didn't even have a studio. I'm like, one day I want to sit down with her in person, so it's it's a joy to have you in the studio. So you know, obviously, you're we've talked a lot in the in our past conversations about epigenetics and and gone down the road of that, and talking about the power of the belief and the power of the mind to heal and to change your genetics and things like that. How powerful can a negative belief be on the body.

Bruce Lipton 2:02
Very, very important question. Why? Oh, positive belief. Positive, you know, placebo effect. Positive belief. Okay, and no one until now is mentioning the negative side. And to me, that was the important part of the conversation that has been left out. Why negative thinking is equally powerful as positive thinking? You can heal any disease with positive placebo thinking. What people have to know is you can manifest any disease and even die with negative thinking. It's all it takes. You can get cancer because you believe it.

Alex Ferrari 2:44
That is a lot of times, like you don't know it until the doctor says, "Oh, you have three months to live. And like, well, I guess I have three months to live, and the body reacts.

Bruce Lipton 2:50
Yeah, and this has always come about because during, for most people, during the formative years of programming, which is up to age seven, if if people have a family doctor, and anybody gets sick in the family, oh, we have to go to the doctor. I go well. There's a problem because in that programming says, well, if it comes to health, I don't know anything about it, but the doctor knows, and so you transfer the power of knowledge to whatever the doctor said, so and this is a scary part because if a prognosis is not positive, it's a prescription to manifest. So as you mentioned, like oh you you have three months left to live, and people die in about three months, and you know, many times in autopsy, they never died from the cancer they were supposed to have died from. They died because of the belief they were going to die, and this all comes down to a simple fact: we are manifestors, creators of our life experiences. We are a piece of God,

Alex Ferrari 4:04
Spark,

Bruce Lipton 4:05
And the idea is you don't recognize the power of that position because we've never been programmed to see ourselves as that. We've been programmed to be victims,

Alex Ferrari 4:17
Powerless,

Bruce Lipton 4:17
And powerless means I can't do it, but somebody else can do it. And then the question is, how much will it cost to fix me? And you become a customer, a consumer of something on the outside to replace what you already have innately on the inside. Powerful, but if you don't believe you are powerful, it's hey biology of belief.

Alex Ferrari 4:47
It's a good bookI heard. I heard it's a good. I've seen a copy. Well, then let me ask you this: on the on the flip side of that, why do people who think positively still get sick.

Bruce Lipton 5:00
Ah, that is the most important question because that's where people come and say, "Well, that must be a bunch of BS, a belief system. And I go, "No, you see, the when you say the mind, it's in my mind. It conjures up an idea that there's a single entity called the mind, when in fact there are two minds that are interdependent. The latest evolution of the mind is right behind your forehead, a lobe of brain called the prefrontal cortex. This is what makes us as individuals different. This is our source. This is our identity, and as we get into it, this is the seat of our spirituality. Okay, and the character of this conscious mind is creative. So I say, hey, tell me your wishes and desires, and whatever you come up with is a manifestation of a creation. Oh, I want this. I would love to have that. You know, I go yeah, creativity. Then I say the other part of the mind, which is about 90% of the brain, is the subconscious, and sub means below conscious. It operates without you even paying attention. The subconscious is the equivalent of a hard disk in a computer. It's got programs, what we call programs, habits. Okay. Now there are some good habits. When did you learn how to walk? That's a good habit. Before it's true, and you're still walking, and you can be 100, and you're still walking. I say, that's the power of a program. Once it's in there, my whole life, riding a bicycle. So the idea is this: the conscious mind is creative, the subconscious mind is a hard drive with programs in it. Okay, and then comes this issue. When you're coming from a conscious mind as an observer and participant in the world, then you're manifesting wishes and desires. Okay, and here comes the problem, and nobody's aware. And I want to thank you for asking. The conscious mind can look out your eyes, pretend your body is a vehicle. Your conscious mind is leaking out the windshield, and the conscious mind is driving us to what wishes and desires. But here comes the problem: the conscious mind can think. What what what I go? Thinking is not looking out. Thinking is looking in. A thought is inside. So the moment you are thinking, you are disconnected from the world at that moment. You're inside. I go. Yeah, but I love it. If you're driving a car and all of a sudden you say, "Yeah, well, when I get to the store, I'm going to do blah blah blah. I'm going at that moment. You are not driving the car. I go, "What do you mean? I said, "You're in. You're thinking. You're not even looking out the windshield. Yeah, but the car seems to be driving okay. I go, and this is it. The subconscious is autopilot. When the conscious mind is engaged thinking, the programs in the subconscious mind take over. Okay, now that subconscious mind is a million times more powerful a processor than is the conscious mind, so I say, yeah. You taught the subconscious mind how to drive a vehicle just as much as you taught it how to rock. Okay, so the idea is the moment you were thinking about what you were going to do at the destination, the autopilot subconscious took over, and it drives even better than you because the processing power of that mind is fantastic. So the idea was, yeah, you were thinking, and the car was being driven unconsciously by the subconscious. Now to conclude this very important part, how much time does the average person spend thinking? And the answer is 95% of the day. Meaning, this is it. 95% of the day, your life is operating from the programs you have in the subconscious mind, and because you are not looking out, you don't even see the program you are playing, because you're inside. But everybody else is responding to your program, okay? And now comes the bitter pill, and that is this. 90% of the 95% of your life is this is the program, okay? And percentage-wise, 60% of those programs that we download in our life are disempowering and self-sabotaging. So that means when you're on autopilot, 95% of the day, the majority of your behavior is self-sabotaging.

Alex Ferrari 10:30
Well, Bruce, is this what is this what happens when the powers that be are trying to control the populace by feeding them fear and constantly trying to control them in that way because if that's a program as well.

Bruce Lipton 10:43
Excuse me, they are controlling them, and this is really important because well, people watch the media, okay, and then they they tell us this is how life is.

Alex Ferrari 10:54
Right, these people

Bruce Lipton 10:56
And then all of a sudden you you're in your living room and you're watching, you know, the planet go to hell, and you look outside and say, "Oh my God, we're in trouble. It's like, well, that's because of the video they're showing you, and it's like, is that the real world or is that the selection of what they want you to know? Let's go back. The idea of this programming, which is biologically and scientifically the first seven years of your life, your brain is not even at the level of consciousness until age seven. Okay, under age seven, you're in a brain function called theta. Theta is imagination and character. So a child under seven lives half of its life in the real world and half of it in the imaginary world. You got imaginary friends, imaginary games, blah blah blah. So I'm saying this is a download period. Okay, there is no filtering of the download. You it's the state of hypnosis. That's what failure is. Hypnosis. I go. Why? Hey, how many things you have to know to be a functional member of a family, or how many things you have to know to be a functional member of a community? I say 1000s of things. The you know the rules of life. I say, how's a young kid, an infant, going to learn the rules to be a participant? And the answer is, well, they can't read a book and they can't go to a school, but nature has made that mind a state of hypnosis. So all you have to do is observe. You observe your parents, their behavior. You observe the community, their behavior, and you download them. Again, you're downloading other people's behaviors, and the majority of them are self-sabotaging. Okay, and then 95% of your life, when you are thinking, is coming from those programs. So now I go. 400 years ago, the Jesuits started telling their followers, "Give me a boy until it is seven, and I will show you the man. I go, "My God! They knew even that was seven years, and they knew that whatever program went in, 95% of that person's life is a program, and what do they manifest? Catholic school. Why? Give them the rules before they're seven, and the program for that would be in your mind just as much as walking would be in that program, and they own you from there. Okay, well, that was 400 years ago. Today, the programming is much more significant than it was when the Jesuits were aware, and I was tell people, look at an infant carrying an iPad.

Alex Ferrari 14:08
Oh, I know.

Bruce Lipton 14:09
And at that moment, that's programming. You're programming an infant to use this computer. You know, I said, insidious. And I say, but most of the programming is very negative, and I say the result, as we just mentioned, was the programs make me feel like I'm a victim. I cannot control my genes. I cannot control what goes on in my life in the world. I'm a victim, powerless, and as the moment begins, you're powerless. You will pay anything to get power from somebody else.

Alex Ferrari 14:47
And there's always someone who's ready to charge.

Bruce Lipton 14:51
Ah, just yeah. Watch TV every 15 minutes. Yeah,

Alex Ferrari 14:54
15 seconds nowadays.

Bruce Lipton 14:55
Yeah.

Alex Ferrari 14:56
So let me ask you this, Bruce: Is there any programming for? Your first seven years that seems to still show up every once in a while that you've become aware of and you've might have adjusted in your life,

Bruce Lipton 15:06
Not negative ones.

Alex Ferrari 15:08
Okay,

Bruce Lipton 15:08
why? Because I had very negative program. I tell you very personally, my father and mother had a very dysfunctional relationship. Okay, and I say so what? I observed my father's behavior, which under age seven, what did I know was good or bad behavior? I downloaded his behavior. Then for 40 years, 40 years, I could not sustain a relationship, and the reason was once I was start thinking, and my father's behavior would be the autopilot. My relationships were gone, but I met my partner Margaret. I think 32 years or so ago, and she, in her former career, was head of a workshop programming company, very much aware of programs. I was aware of programs, you know, from the minds and all that. So when we started to get together, we had one argument, just once, and it was like two egos bouncing against each other. It was the worst argument over nothing. Yeah, directions how to go someplace. You know, it's like, and I remember for about a week to two weeks after my hands were my nervous system was shaking of how that was traumatic, but we made an agreement never to have an argument, and we both knew about program, so came the option. If I came up with a program that was negative, most people, when they do that in a relationship, one comes up with a negative program, and the partner observes and goes, "Who who are you? You know, where where did that come from? Well, you have to remember: if you're playing a program, you're playing because you're not paying attention, so you don't know, you know, what you just said. But your partner observes it, okay? And then, well, you did this blah blah blah argument, fight. 50% of relationships dissolve in divorce. Why? Because the person's negative programming overrides them at some point. So, bottom line was this: Margaret and I, knowing about this, if I came up with a negative program, she wouldn't. It wouldn't be an argument. It would be, Bruce. Did you just hear what you said? I go. What did I say? And then she tell me. I go. Oh no, I didn't really mean that. And that was the opening to change a program. So in our relationship, I changed all the negative programs. Anytime they would come up, and she had hers, and she, we would change them, and so what was that? Removing the negative behaviors, and retaining the positive behaviors, and the result is the honeymoon that I've been on for 32 years of waking up every day with, oh my God, I'm so happy. I'm so in love. I love my life. I love my partner. Heaven on earth for 32 years, not one argument ever after.

Alex Ferrari 18:30
Beautiful, beautiful. Now, is there any beliefs that you've had in your in your life that has affected your health or your body?

Bruce Lipton 18:38
I'm dealing with it right now, I say, what was that? About two and a half years ago, I was having a pain in my ear, my side of my face. I went to an ear, nose, a throat doctor, and I'll never forget it. He says, "Well, let me look down your throat, and then he looked down. Then he gave me. He looked at me with this like serious, like close to my face, and he goes, "Bruce, you have cancer in your tongue. I go, "Oh, and he's waiting for, "Oh, I got cancer. I just said, "Oh, well, I know this for a fact. There's no gene that causes cancer. There's not one gene that causes cancer. Cancer is 90% minimum due to lifestyle and cancer.

Alex Ferrari 19:32
Environment too, no?

Bruce Lipton 19:33
What's that?

Alex Ferrari 19:33
Environment as well, right?

Bruce Lipton 19:35
Well, yeah, that's involving lifestyle. Okay, how I manage myself. Okay, so I realize, okay, I have a cancer, and people think cancer is a problem. I want to acknowledge, cancer is a symptom of a problem. This is why. Where is the cancer? Lung, kidney, prostate. Wherever that is a, it's actually telling you there's an issue you are not dealing with, and the cancer affects that area where you're not dealing with something. Okay, so I have a tongue cancer, and my career is speaking,

Alex Ferrari 20:19
Right!

Bruce Lipton 20:20
And all of a sudden, I go well. I can't. I lecture. I'm still working. I'm rebuilding this tongue muscle, and I say, "Oh my God! There's no more speaking. Then I realized, for 20 years, I've had a knowledge of a theory of evolution that was challenging Darwinian theory. I call it the antidote to Darwinian theory. And the simple fact we get into is Darwinian theory is the cause of the upheaval of our civilization at this time. And I had this new scientific theory of evolution that completely challenges the whole Dharma thing. I mean, the whole idea is Dharma is based on competition. The new theory is cooperation as the drive of evolution, and I didn't write it. I kept speaking and giving more and more lectures

Alex Ferrari 21:23
About it or other things.

Bruce Lipton 21:23
What's that?

Alex Ferrari 21:23
About it or about other things?

Bruce Lipton 21:25
About anything but the story. And and therefore I say, so why is my speaking affection? It says because you are not writing what you've had in your mind for 20 years. So simple conclusion. Okay, I commit. I'm going to write this book. My scan from the med people before writing a book, malignant tumor. In the middle of writing my book, a scan said benign tumor. At the completion of my book, the last scan said no tumor.

Alex Ferrari 22:08
Really, but it still affected your tongue.

Bruce Lipton 22:10
Well, yeah, because for two and a half years, remember, tongue is muscle.

Alex Ferrari 22:14
Of course,

Bruce Lipton 22:14
And the tumor wrapped around the nerve, which I couldn't move that muscle. Well, anybody who knows about muscle, you can build up muscle, but if you don't use the muscle,

Alex Ferrari 22:25
It

Bruce Lipton 22:26
It atrophies. So I'm still working with what rebuilding the muscle for two and a half years. It was paralyzed, and so I'm in the process of a lot of people. When I tried to speak earlier, said, "Oh, you must have had a stroke,

Alex Ferrari 22:44
Right,

Bruce Lipton 22:44
Or something. No, it was just my inability to maneuver my tongue and speech.

Alex Ferrari 22:51
So I want to dig into this a little bit because it's such an important lesson to that for people to listen to, is that you had a, and I'll argue. I'll just say you had a download of this information.

Bruce Lipton 23:03
Yes.

Alex Ferrari 23:03
This information came through you, and you said, for whatever reason, scared. I don't want to go down that road. I know what's going to happen when I come out there. They're going to attack me. I really don't want to deal with this.

Bruce Lipton 23:15
Are you me or what?

Alex Ferrari 23:17
Well, I've I've had similar worlds myself, my friend. I didn't hold on to it for 20 years, but I've had these conversations with myself, and I'm like, "Oh God, but you've been given the gift, so you've been given that information, and it's your job and your sole mission to put this out. You agreed to it.

Bruce Lipton 23:34
Well, yeah, and the idea was I wrote a book called The Biology of Belief.

Alex Ferrari 23:38
Believe if I believe if

Bruce Lipton 23:41
I can't heal myself, then the book is meaningless.

Alex Ferrari 23:44
Right. So there's a lot

Bruce Lipton 23:46
Under some pressure.

Alex Ferrari 23:47
So there's a lot of there's a lot of levels to this. Yeah. So when people hold on to a dream, and or or stifle a talent.

Bruce Lipton 23:56
Yes.

Alex Ferrari 23:56
So like I really want to dance, but I'm an accountant, and there's nothing wrong with being an accountant if that is what you're supposed to do and what you find joy in, and that's when people and that's when like oh or I'm holding on to something I'm just not letting go of it or not processing it. Yeah, this is where disease comes from.

Bruce Lipton 24:13
100% People think oh genes are responsible. A fact less than 1% of all the health crisis on this planet-less than 1%-is even connected to a gene. 90 plus percent of the health crisis is due to one thing: stress.

Alex Ferrari 24:36
Oh yeah, absolutely.

Bruce Lipton 24:38
And the world is getting more and more stress every day, every day, and the house price is going up more every day. No matter how much medicine, no matter how many hospitals, blah blah blah, the house price is getting worse. Why? Because we, you know, brought into the medical system as well. I'm not well. The doctor, I go. They're still locked into an old belief about if something's going on below your neck, it must be something wrong with the mechanism.

Alex Ferrari 25:10
Yeah, the machine's wrong.

Bruce Lipton 25:11
The machine's wrong, and so here's some medicine, a drug, a chemical. Put this into your system and adjust the machine. And the problem is this: 90% of that, 99% villains is from here. And if you don't deal with this, then you're going to just struggle to try and keep fixing the machine when the problem was up here.

Alex Ferrari 25:37
So then, as as well to fix the machine as well as there is a there's a belief as well, and I've realized this as well in my life is that when you what you eat and how you eat is not only on a physical level of like you know the energy the energy of the food the chemicals of the food that help you and all that stuff but belief of that so even like I know everybody watching has at one point or another go. I need to get in shape. I need to start eating right.

Bruce Lipton 26:05
I had to do this myself with the wake up call with my cancer.

Alex Ferrari 26:09
So tell me.

Bruce Lipton 26:10
Yeah. Okay. Number one, this is people have to wake up. This is tough one. The minimum lifespan of a human biologically is 150 years. We get to 100. Everybody thinks, "Oh my God, you lived to 100. I say, "You're missing 50 years. I say, "Where's the problem? Almost all of it comes down to food. I go, "Why? Well, let me tell you first the negative side. When you burn fuel, let's say gas in the car. You get energy, but you get toxic waste product coming out the exhaust pipe. You don't breathe the exhaust; it will kill you. Okay,

Alex Ferrari 26:53
Right.

Bruce Lipton 26:54
When you burn food, a toxic byproduct is called free radical, and free radical are charged ions, atoms with a charge, and they shoot holes in the cells, and they kill cells. The more food you digest, the more cells you kill. Now, basically, you're killing your body cells. You know the ones that are already functional: liver, muscle, skin, blah blah blah. Interesting fact, viewers. Here's a fact: every second, three and one half million cells die. Every second, three and a half million just dies. Three and a half million just die. Well, we have stem cells, which are embryonic cells with a new name, and they replace the cells that are dying. But when you eat food, the proportion of cells that die proportion are the body cells. But you still hit a number of stem cells. Over time, you will diminish the population of stem cells, and that's where the problem comes in because you're still losing three and a half million cells. But if you don't have enough stem cells to replenish that loss, it's a downhill ride. That's the aging that comes in. Okay.

Alex Ferrari 28:24
How do you keep the stem cells at a good level?

Bruce Lipton 28:27
Take care of yourself.

Alex Ferrari 28:30
Eat right. Take care of yourself.

Bruce Lipton 28:31
Okay. And now number many things come in here. I'd like to tell you something that you're not going to find in a textbook. Okay. As a Short story: Chernobyl reactor blew up, and every year they put a robot with a camera go through the reactor and just say, "What's going on? And year four, there was black fungus growing on the wall in the reactor, you know, how can anything live in the reactor? Well, that pushed some scientists to say, "What the hell is the fungus able to do to survive in the reactor? Well, it turns out it was what made them black? I said, "What was that pigment? I said, "What's the name of the pigment? Melanin. I go, "Why is that relevant? It's the pigment in all of our skin except for albinos. Okay, all of us have melanin. Okay, the degree of melanin is also due to where people came from to a certain start, like the equatorial zone, and melan had two functions: absorb the negative rays from the sun to keep us from burning ourselves. Okay, and the new function, and this is it, folks. In plants, there's something called a chloroplast. It's a protein granule that takes sunlight and converts it into energy and food. Melanin is the animal equivalent of chloroplast. It takes energy out of the field, converts the energy into biological energy and provides our energy resource. So, how much? Well, about 90% of the cells' need for energy comes from the environment. 10% from nutrition, and the point is what we're eating too damn much food that we should be on a subsistence diet. There are people that call themselves breatharians. They say they don't eat anything. They may not, and some of them are. They had he had crackers. I saw he ate some salt chains. I go, he didn't supersize his meal, my friends.

Alex Ferrari 31:06
We're not here because of the saltines, my friends.

Bruce Lipton 31:09
No, but the point was what that they have as much a healthy life as people that eat the full three meals a day,

Alex Ferrari 31:16
Which is all corporate.

Bruce Lipton 31:18
It's all corporate pushing. Yeah, that's why a hamburger is not enough. You need a double hamburger with fries, with fries,

Alex Ferrari 31:24
And a supersized Coke.

Bruce Lipton 31:25
Oh, I guess that Coke because of sugar.

Alex Ferrari 31:28
But Diet Coke is fine, right? Because that cancels out all the calories, obviously, and and

Bruce Lipton 31:34
It's a it's a sales gimmick.

Alex Ferrari 31:35
Well, it has been

Bruce Lipton 31:38
And and here's the hard part: eating meals is an addiction. It is meaning okay. It's lunchtime. I'm hungry. Why it's lunchtime? Am I really hungry? Not necessarily, but it's 12 o'clock. It's time to eat.

Alex Ferrari 31:54
So you want to? I want to tell you something I've been doing lately. Yes, and I'm in it right now. I've I did a six week juice fast.

Bruce Lipton 32:05
Yes,

Alex Ferrari 32:05
And I felt better than I felt and ever. I'm currently on day seven of another juice fast.

Bruce Lipton 32:12
Yes,

Alex Ferrari 32:13
And day one or day two is that detox time. You headache, and you start feeling. Second day, I was like,

Bruce Lipton 32:19
it's just drunk with cold turkey,

Alex Ferrari 32:23
Right! And I was eating extremely well these last three months since the first time I did it because I changed my diet and became stronger and all that stuff. And I'm in the middle of it now, and I feel fantastic. I feel energetic, and I just have juice and coconut water and some some veggie broth, and and I'm good, and that's my that's my fast. What is happening? Can you explain to people the power of fasting and what it does to the body? Because I agree with you. Like after all the research I've done, we eat way too much.

Bruce Lipton 32:54
Way too much.

Alex Ferrari 32:54
And our ancestors did not have three meals a day. They ate once every four or five days if they were lucky. Generally speaking, if they're hunter gatherers,

Bruce Lipton 33:02
They were the breatharians.

Alex Ferrari 33:04
They were, but yet we. This is a thing. There was a myth thrown around, like, oh, if you don't eat, you're going to lose muscle mass. Muscle mass, and to a certain extent, you do lose a little muscle. But I was, I always thought to myself, well, wait a minute. If you're a hunter gatherer, you lose muscle. You can't hunt, and if you can't hunt, or you can't grow foot. You can't do anything.

Bruce Lipton 33:22
One of the best exercises is not running but walking.

Alex Ferrari 33:27
Yeah,

Bruce Lipton 33:27
And a hunter gatherer walks.

Alex Ferrari 33:30
And if you walk uphill, it's even more powerful than running a mile. Yeah, as far as so yeah,

Bruce Lipton 33:35
This is an important part. So number one, as you just mentioned, you're healthier. Why using the digestion process takes a lot of energy from the body to digest all this, and then all the waste product adds to the misery of that. As a downhill run, you lose 50 years right away from from living the way we are living. But number two, is the food that we're eating beneficial? And the answer is no, not now. Industrial farm food is so short of nutrient, but it does what its intention was. What's that? I'm satisfied. I was hungry. I put something in there. My stomach says, "Okay, we have stuff. We're good. I'm satisfied. I ate some digestion. Goes there was nothing of value in this.

Alex Ferrari 34:32
Let's just get this out as fast as possible.

Bruce Lipton 34:33
Get rid of it. Yeah,

Alex Ferrari 34:34
And it's it's fascinating. It's like because now, yeah, yeah, I'm full, but our body never thought that we would be eating this unnatural food, this ultra processed foods.

Bruce Lipton 34:45
So the whole mission statement is to really look for organic, natural food. Okay, and you can be vegan, you can be vegetarian, you can be omnivore. It's the amount. Of the food that makes a big difference,

Alex Ferrari 35:02
And the quality of the food that you eat.

Bruce Lipton 35:03
Well, the quality-that's why I said try not to get the commercial stuff sold in the market. Yeah, farmers' markets, if you have. And there's so many other aspects to this about this food that's not helping us. But I feel satisfied. I ate that super-sized me. I'm so full. I I just sit here for a while, and I'm going. You are killing yourself. Now you can't just say, "Oh, Bruce said we should eat virtually nothing tomorrow. I'm going to eat virtually nothing. Don't do that. You can't do that. It's a withdrawal from Mr. Drug.

Alex Ferrari 35:42
When I eat, I eat probably my biggest meal would be lunch, which is not that big, and then I'll have a light dinner. But I don't have I have intermittent fasting essentially, so I eat basically within a seven eight hour window, six to eight hour window, and that's it. And it seems to work for me, and I my body reacts very well to it.

Bruce Lipton 35:59
Everybody's body would, okay, because the mechanism you're overfeeding a system that says I only make 90% of the energy. That whole myth of well, you have to eat this for your energy. I go, I don't have to eat that for energy. I'm taking it right out of the air, okay,

Alex Ferrari 36:19
And the sun,

Bruce Lipton 36:20
And because as you said, the hunter-gatherer doesn't eat every day, maybe days. I go, well, they're going to die because they didn't eat for three days in a row. I said, no, they can make energy. The body is storage and all. It's killing the body with food that is too much and has no ability to nourish you, and so there's minerals too, which is not in the soil anymore, from you know repeating the same farming over and over and depleting the soil from elements that are functional for us. So it's a filler. The food is a filler,

Alex Ferrari 37:01
And it's getting worse. I mean, they're starting. There's movements of regenerative farming and that kind of stuff coming up, and I think everyone's starting to wake up.

Bruce Lipton 37:09
Not everyone, but it is a necessary part of our evolution at this moment. Is the wake up call, and the wake up pro is very simple. This science has recognized that to sustain our civilization at this minute requires the resources of 1.6 planets, and he said, "Wait a minute, the resources of 1.6. We have one planet. Where's the extra point six resources that we're using coming from, and the answer is we're destroying the ecosystem under our feet. We're destroying the soil. We're you know pillaging the resources of the minerals under our feet. We're collapsing the web of life around us, and there's one big problem. I say, where is it? We evolved from the web of life. If the web of life doesn't exist, we cannot exist. And so science has recognized the demands of civilization on the resources is in excess of what the planet can provide. So NASA. NASA scientists have come up with an understanding to reveal, and I want to emphasize this: they have given us between 10 and 20 years before there is, and this is the emphasis, an irreversible collapse of civilization. I emphasize that because I always just go back to the old way. I say no, the old way was not sustainable either. That always just do what we used to. I go no, we were not in harmony with each other. We were not in harmony with Mother Nature. The old way is death. We're moving out. This is when we were talking. People are waking up. Let's eat less. I go eating less saves your life. Guess what? It saves the planet.

Alex Ferrari 39:12
Well, there's there's a movement going on right now because of these GLP one drugs that are going around, which are I'm not a fan of. But it has changed Americans specifically their eating habits. Fast food joints are losing money because they're eating less. It's a health benefit. It's a health benefit of a but it's doing something. It is a reprogramming. It's a rough one, and there's a lot of issues with those. There's a lot of studies being done right now, and that's another episode.

Bruce Lipton 39:43
But I would like to add this because sugar is like a cocaine. It's drug. You can take it, and then it feels good, but then you need some more. Then you need some more. Okay, so they are sweetened. The food with high fructose corn syrup.

Alex Ferrari 40:04
Oh, the worst!

Bruce Lipton 40:05
Let me tell you about this, and people don't understand. In experiments, they fed rats one group sugar, real sugar, sugar cane, and the other group got the high fructose corn syrup, and then they ran through a battery of tests of learning and memory, the high fructose corn sheep rats failed miserably. They weren't able to hold the memory, and their learning was impaired. I guess what the government is paying the corn growers to make more. Why? Because it's the cheapest form of sweetener, yeah, but what else? It incapacitates the public, and all of the products from Coca-Cola down to health food bars,

Alex Ferrari 40:50
Oh yes,

Bruce Lipton 40:52
Have high fructose corn syrup. So that is a toxic element that will take away your consciousness, your you know your ability to memorize, your ability to learn, and we are feeding Americans this Europeans. They have sugar, cane sugar in their soda. Okay,

Alex Ferrari 41:11
I know when I was in Italy, I drank soda for the. I hadn't drank coke in forever, and I just drank it. I was like, "Oh, this is not. I mean, it's delicious. It was. I was like, "This. I don't remember tasting this good, yeah. But I had it in Italy. But when, but here, it just, it's just,

Bruce Lipton 41:25
Yeah. But that was a plan. Why would the government fund this to give us sweetener? No, to take away our consciousness, to make us less, you know, mentally fit. Why control control the population? Why because they know it's going to collapse civilization. Okay, they know that, and so how are you going to control people? Make them less intelligent, put the clamp on them, hold them down, because this upheaval will challenge the entire way we are living. Because the way we are living is we're living beyond our means.

Alex Ferrari 42:12
And now corporations are creating seedless versions of foods, fruits and vegetables, so we can't even collect seeds to grow it ourselves.

Bruce Lipton 42:19
Absolutely, my manipulation. You know, the major problem. You cannot plan agriculture if you don't know what the weather is going to be. The U.S. the Midwest called the breadbasket. We get the wheat from the Midwest. This year, Kansas, one of the biggest providers of wheat, there is no harvest at all this year. Why? With the bad weather from the spring to the summer,

Alex Ferrari 42:53
The heat,

Bruce Lipton 42:54
The plants didn't grow, so there's no harvest of wheat. Wheat prices have gone up 40% already. Why? Well, everything from bread, pasta, cookies, anything with wheat. The price is going up. Is the salary going up? No. Is the cost of living going up? You bet. What's the point? It's not sustainable. People can't afford living this way. So, little advice in my new book. There's a section on nutrition, and it brings up something very interesting. He said, before industrial farming took over, the staple diet of people from Nepal, India, China, okay, Japan, South America, was rice and beans. I know. Interesting. Those two foods together offer the complete amount of different amino acids for a human to build their body. All the amino acids to build the proteins come from two foods, rice and beans, and it's interesting because at this moment that's still the cheapest food in the market.

Alex Ferrari 44:14
It is,

Bruce Lipton 44:15
And the point about it is we're facing an upheaval. Matter of fact, with diesel prices going up and the industry putting us dependent on diesels, when we used to have the railroad, which would deliver everything, now is diesel trucks where I live in California. It's 875 a gallon for diesel, and the point about is what there's even at a high price, there's a shortage of diesel. october 1 coming is supposed to be a trucker's strike. I go, you don't realize how this will incapacitate the entire country. Why? How are you going to get food to the supermarket? It has to come by the truck. And what happens when there's a like a hurricane or something disaster coming? The food stores two hours, the shelves are empty.

Alex Ferrari 45:17
Now what?

Bruce Lipton 45:18
This is the problem. We're facing that kind of big dramatic thing coming, whether it's the trucker strike or other factors. We're running out of food that people can't afford. In fact, more and more people are now charging the food at the supermarket because they don't have the cash. What does that mean? Living beyond your ability-it's always going to hit the fan. At some point, you still got paid for all this stuff. So I'm coming down to what was the point here: eating too much. The food prices are going up faster than you can afford them, and the resolution is two things: eat less, and the cheapest food in the market are rice and beans.

Alex Ferrari 46:06
Yeah,

Bruce Lipton 46:07
And if we went back to that, and I want to add this for the people: generally, you have a first aid kit in your house. I don't want to use my first aid kit, but if there's emergency, I'm damn well have one. I'm saying that the food in your pantry is like a first aid kit. As long as there's food in the market, I have no problem. But the moment there is no food in the market, where are you going to find food? And so my suggestion, people, please listen. Put away food for at least two months. Dry food, canned food, food that you can add some water to

Alex Ferrari 46:49
Easily cook, easy prepare,

Bruce Lipton 46:51
Easy to sustain yourself. Why? We are facing an inevitable crash. We're beyond the ability of the planet to sustain us. This is not a suggestion. This is a fact. And I say, so when there's no food in market, what are you going to do? The answer is, you better have something put away. And while the prices are going up, hey, this is a great time to buy some rice and beans. Why? That is the basic staple to live on around the world. That was the basic staple, and I'm just saying, warning: we are facing an evolutionary upheaval at this minute. Why? Not sustainable. Okay, and and this is why I'm saying, if you know this is the future, that knowledge should empower you to say, I have to take care of myself because the future is the government's not going to come and help you.

Alex Ferrari 47:57
And it's I think a message that we're trying to put out there is that you have the power within yourself to not only take control of your own life, but to take control of your own mind, to take control of your own your own experience, where you've been programmed to believe that you are lesser than, that you can't connect to God. You need to have a middleman to do it. You know that you aren't. You're born with original sin, and only I just need 10% of everything you make for the rest of your life. You know, you're born with a sin, yeah, and you need me to clean it from you. It's insane.

Bruce Lipton 48:31
We are prisoners of a belief system.

Alex Ferrari 48:35
A story. I call it a story. The story that a framework story that we tell ourselves.

Bruce Lipton 48:39
Yeah, but somebody told you that story exactly. People that knew that they can control you. Why control has always been who's dominant. You know, there's an evolution of control. The first control was who's the biggest badass in the community, the one with the biggest club. If he says do it, you do it. Okay, big bad guy. Then evolved the guy who owned the resources, because even the big bad guy had to have those resources. Then the big bad guy became the soldier for the baron who had the resources. Okay, so we went from bad guy, resource provider, and then the last level was knowledge is power, and that's when the church owns you know the the knowledge we get direct from God. You don't get it. We have it. You can buy it from us and scare people. You're going to go to hell. Where did hell come from? Well, it's down there in the fire. I go. It was from mythology, from the Greeks. The Greek myth of a lake on fire was what prompted the idea of hell.

Alex Ferrari 50:00
Wasn't also Jesus also talked about the Lake of God? What's the Lake that he talked about where they there were sacrifices in Jerusalem and they were throwing kids into it? Henna, henna, Lake Lake Henna or something like that. And that's he's like, if you guys don't behave yourselves, you know you're going to end up there. And they took that and created the hell concept. But then, wasn't in the 1300s when Dante showed up?

Bruce Lipton 50:24
Devil, Dante made a visual.

Alex Ferrari 50:26
Oh, he he was great, wasn't he? He did him a great marketing. There was no devil. There was no devil before Dante. There was no levels of hell. There were no demon. That was not a thing, because that's just good storytelling.

Bruce Lipton 50:38
And we bought it. And once you buy it, then fear, and then once you have fear, then you have yeah. Because fear, you give up your power to be safe.

Alex Ferrari 50:48
So Bruce, I think also that now the people, it seems like, and it's been it's it's a story is all this time where they create a tremendous amount of fear to control people, and then if they create enough enough fear, and it's so, and everything gets a little too crazy, they go. We're gonna need to do this. We're gonna have to take away a couple more freedoms from you, but you'll be safe, and you'll take a little bit. We'll control your food, but you'll be safe, and you just trust us. You'll be safe. That's the oldest trick, and now it seems to be happening not only in here, in this country, in many ways, but in around the world, and in different countries in Europe and Asia and everything.

Bruce Lipton 51:29
Whether you want to say it was the church in hell, or the medical the medical community, which is the pharmaceutical company, giving that fear and controlling through that fear-that's a history story, as you just said. Make somebody afraid, make them a victim, and then they will pay or give up wherever is necessary for them to feel safe.

Alex Ferrari 51:56
Yeah.

Bruce Lipton 51:56
And as we're facing upheaval, there's going to be more control to keep this.

Alex Ferrari 52:04
It's already you feel it. You feel it coming in. Yeah. It's it's it. I mean, from the food prices. I mean, you're right. At a certain point, this is this got to pop. Yeah. This this bubble has to pop. Yeah. Um. You can't just keep spending worth what 40 trillion in the hole, and it's it might as well be 40 katillion. It doesn't matter.

Bruce Lipton 52:25
You know, I love it because Musk is a trillionaire. I go, that sounds like a lot. I say, a trillionaire has more money than 1000 billionaires.

Alex Ferrari 52:37
Right,

Bruce Lipton 52:38
1000 billionaires worth of money in the hands of one person?

Alex Ferrari 52:42
That's insane.

Bruce Lipton 52:43
And the problem about all this is, there's a certain amount of resources on the planet. This is like NASA research. Imagine a pie chart. I say 100% resources on the planet. Then I say less than 1% of the population has more than half of all those resources, so take half the pounds to take it out. Then what? 8 billion people are competing in a struggle to get a piece of the half that is left over. We manufactured our own struggle-it didn't exist-and I have to say this as well: the Darwinian theory, and people-you didn't have to go to school. My father never went to school, but he was certainly aware of the concept: dog eat dog, survival of the fittest, compete all that, which is the theory, is permeated our civilization with a belief that I must compete to get a piece of a struggle. I go well. First of all, we manifested the struggle. Nature was never a struggle. Nature is a garden. I said, "What's your garden? A community of insects, animals, and plants living in harmony. A garden is a beautiful place of harmony. And I go, "What's the relevance about this? I go, "Well, the only organism in the garden that is not participating in the harmony of the garden are human beings. We're destroying the garden under our feet. And I mentioned earlier, if the garden goes down, we can't be here either. But we have some belief in start with the Bible. Oh yeah, God Genesis made a planet, put some water on it, you know, light, blah blah.

Alex Ferrari 54:47
Yeah, we're only 5000 years old,

Bruce Lipton 54:48
And and and then added the humans as like an option to nature. So the concept of we're separate from nature. And the idea we have dominion over an age cycle-how's that working out? We're destroying the world that we live in because of belief. We can do what we want. It's like we're destroying. We're the only organism not in harmony with a garden, and a garden, by definition, is not a battleground. It's the height of cooperation. The only organism not cooperating are humans who have been programmed to be competitive.

Alex Ferrari 55:34
I I love that that thesis. I love that you're absolutely right. If you look in nature, and it's regardless if you're an atheist or you're a full believer in in everything we talk about on this show, you have to admit that there is a beautiful design to this. Not only this planet, this universe, there is a cyclical situation with everything, and it just seems. I love that I've never thought about it this way, but the garden, as as you as your example, is a perfectly cooperative. And it and if if it was the bee trying to compete with the wasp or trying to compete with the the it wouldn't work. It has to. Everyone does their job, everyone works together, and everything just flourishes. It's only when one thing goes a little too hard that everything gets thrown out of whack.

Bruce Lipton 56:26
And then nature tries to compensate by eliminating that one thing from the garden.

Alex Ferrari 56:30
Well, yeah. Like so, I'm from Florida, and they introduced, I think, just Floridians introduced the python, pet pythons into the Everglades, and now they are run amok, and now they are they are now the apex predator. That ecosystem had never was designed for that being to be in there. So now the alligators are being eaten by the python, and it's a big problem. That's a perfect example of something being thrown out of harmony because someone is competing for everything that's not supposed to be there.

Bruce Lipton 57:04
Absolutely, and we have this problem. I remember there were these African killer bees.

Alex Ferrari 57:10
Yes,

Bruce Lipton 57:10
and they there's a sign was kill the other bees, and it was just like Fauci saying in a lab they were growing some killer bees or in another lab, but a couple of bees got out, and all of a sudden, oops, they started mating, and then coming from the far south, they started to increase and increase. Why? There was no competitor in those environments for those bees, and they were killing what the honeybees? I go, and we have that problem. Say we round up, and I go. Why is this a problem? The answer is, you will not have a close to if you don't have honeybees. They pollinate the plant.

Alex Ferrari 57:53
Absolutely,

Bruce Lipton 57:53
And therefore we are facing this crisis of our. Oh, we can do what we want. We can make what we want.

Alex Ferrari 58:01
And I'll I'll quote the the great Jeff Goldblum from Jurassic Park. Just because you can do something, and there's a loose quote, just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do something, or even think, should I do this? You never thought about it. You just did it.

Bruce Lipton 58:16
Well, that's having dominion over nature.

Alex Ferrari 58:21
And in Jurassic Park, it didn't work out. Didn't work out well for everybody.

Bruce Lipton 58:25
Well, we're in that situation now, and this is the whole issue: is civilizations have come and gone. There was a Roman civilization, and it disappeared

Alex Ferrari 58:34
For 1000 years.

Bruce Lipton 58:36
And then guess what? What people have to recognize: a civilization disappears, so people don't die; the people change the way they are living and move into another civilization,

Alex Ferrari 58:48
Like the Mayans.

Bruce Lipton 58:50
Yeah, everywhere history has repeated this, and as Buckminster Fuller, the futurist said, "Don't go in and fight the existing system. Step outside, build a better system, and people will follow you. Well, this is the process we're in right now. And again, reiterate to me a very important thank you for letting me be on the program. Why? Because you, with the offering that you're providing the public with about health and life and all those characters, are a fundamental way of what building a new sustainable civilization. You are playing a godly important role, and I'm happy to offer what I can.

Alex Ferrari 59:38
Well, I appreciate that, Bruce. Thank you for those kind words. Now, I wanted to switch the subject for a second. I wanted to see what you thought about this. Do you believe that we've lived before, that we have a soul that reincarnates?

Bruce Lipton 59:50
Yes, 100% I go, why? Is this for 40 years as a scientist I had no belief in spiritual. Oh, it was genes and chromosomes and proteins, blah blah blah blah. And then, when I was teaching immunology, a very important fact came. I said, "What? We cannot exchange organs with each other. I cannot put my kidney into your body. Why? Your immune system. If I do the transplant, your immune system says myself, and you can't put your organ into anybody else's body. Their immune system, not self. Well, the immune system sees physical things: viruses, bacteria, parasites, and then it hit me. I said, wait a minute. If I put my organ into your body, and it's interesting, because red blood cells are an exception. The you can transplant red blood cells as long as you get the blood type O A A/B. Okay, but the other cells have an identity that the immune system can see, and it has to be physical, so I started looking at it. I go, oh my God, on the surface of our cells, with the exception of red blood cells, there are protein receptors. Okay, well, on the skin of the cell, I said, well, we're a cell enlarged. Look, eyes, ears, nose, taste, touch-all this. Our receptors are built into the skin. What is a receptor? Receiver of what? Environmental information. This is how an organism can adapt to an environment because we can experience it and then adjust our biology. Okay, so I go. No two people are the same, and then I found on the surface of our cells there are a set of protein receptors, receivers, the equivalent of like antennas. Okay, and there are a set of them. The name was misnamed, but now it's the appropriate name. They're called self receptors. What does that mean? It's identity. I go. Why? No two people. 8 billion humans. No two people in the entire planet have the same set of these antennas. If I take a cell and remove these antennas, there's no identity. Let's say I have a liver cell, Bruce's liver cell. I remove my cell receptors. Now it's just liver cell. I can transplant that into a human. We all have liver cells. I remove identity in my cell. I say, well, wait. I take Margaret's liver cells, and she has her self receptors. I take my liver cell. I remove my self receptors. Now it has no identity. Then I say, but if I take Margaret's self receptors and transplant them onto my cell, I can't put that my cell back in my body because it's Margaret. But she can have my cell. Okay, all of a sudden the pieces started falling. Said, "Oh my God, the receptors are receivers. They receive an energy field. Definition of field in physics: invisible moving forces that influence the physical world, right? Spirit, invisible moving forces that influence the physical world. Quantum physics has recognized as an energy field that we download through our receptors. No two people in the whole world are downloading the same energy field. Imagine like the radio, FM radio, and as you turn the dial, here's a station, then you move it, and here's another station, and here's another. Imagine there's a broad band of human biology, human energy. Okay, each of us is downloading a station. No other person in the world is downloading. It's my identity is picked up by my self receptors. Only I am downloading this, so I'm going. Oh wow, my identity's not built in. My identity is downloading into my biology. Then comes the analogy. Imagine the body is a TV set, and my self receptors are antennas downloading a program, the Bruce Show. Hey, folks, it is. You're watching the Bruce Show on this television. I go. So what? If the television breaks, we say it's dead. You go absolutely. It's not working. Dead. If the body dies, it's dead. It's not working. If the television dies. We call it dead. The question is, is the broadcast still there? Yes, of course. Broadcast is not part of the TV. It's downloaded. So if the body dies, the broadcast being picked up by your self-receptors still here. It's here. Never went away. So it's here. And so what? An embryo in the future shows up with the same set of self receptors you have right now.

Bruce Lipton 1:05:29
You're back in a new TV, and the point about that is called reincarnation. This is a reality of of human life, we are immortal spirit fields. The broadcast, and when we there's a TV with the receptors that can download your back into the physical realm, and if you die, broadcast is still there until it happens again. Okay, so have we been here before? Many times. Yeah, we've all been here before, and we'll be here again. And then all of a sudden, then ask this question about: Well, does it make a difference if the TV is male or female? I go, no, you're a broadcast. You are not the TV. So I say you're still a broadcast. I say so, male or female? Not relevant. Oh wait, does it make a difference if TV is white, brown, black, red, yellow? I don't know. That's the TV. You are the broadcast. Does it make a difference if the TV is programmed to be Christian, Muslim, or Jewish, I say no. That's the program. You are the broadcast. Does it make a difference if it's American or Iranian? I go no. Those are the TVs. We all come from the same broadcast. I say everything else is separation. Everywhere you can separate gender, religion, race, nationality. I say what has that done? It's taken the organism of the human being, which is part of a family of 8 billion human beings, you're looking at the TV. You're ignoring the broadcast. Why? We all came from the same broadcast. We all came from the same source. The separation

Alex Ferrari 1:07:35
Is the illusion.

Bruce Lipton 1:07:36
Is the illusion and disempowerment.

Alex Ferrari 1:07:40
Because you can't have people. Well, it's the old story of the Tower of Babel. It's similar because if we all spoke the same language, we could we could cooperate a lot better.

Bruce Lipton 1:07:50
That was the whole idea. Why? Okay, here's the point. My life is coming from my broadcast. Okay, my broadcast is immortal. I cannot die because I'm the broadcast, but I play through this body. I say, and so what's the function of this body? I go, it's the manifestation mechanism. I ask before, what do you want from your life? And you say, "Well, I would like this. I would like that. I go, "That's a thought. Without a body, there's no manifestation.

Alex Ferrari 1:08:28
You can't.

Bruce Lipton 1:08:29
So then I started pushing together. Say, "Oh my God, we came here to take these bodies and use them to what manifest our wishes and our desires? And then I thought about. I said, "What is heaven? Well, you have a different definition. I have a different. Everybody has their own vision of what heaven's about. I say, "Yeah, but when you come into a body, you can manifest it. But you, you're not the body. You're a manifestor. Okay, let me give another word: creator. You are creating your life experiences. Okay, and all of a sudden I said, "Oh, biggest story that we got screwed. Well, if you follow our rules, religion, and you follow them, when you die, you can go to heaven. I said, "What's that? Oh, that's where you create. I say, "No, you were born here. This is where you create. When you die, you leave with the memory, but you don't have the mechanism. So the whole idea is, well, I'm waiting till I die. I go, well, you're wasting the entire process because Earth is heaven, Earth is the site of manifestation, and that if you live in harmony. There is a harmony, then you have heaven on earth. I'll be honest. I've been with my partner Margaret 32 years. I have lived and through right as this man have a life of heaven on earth. I have no stress from the worldwide. I don't fix it. I take care of my own backyard. That's the old hippie thing. Before you change the world, take care of your own backyard. Yeah, because you're so concerned about what Iranians are doing and Ukrainians and all that, and your life is falling apart in your house,

Alex Ferrari 1:10:36
And you're worried about things across the world.

Bruce Lipton 1:10:38
Yeah, and and it's funny because I don't know how many years ago, not that long ago, really. I came across something called the Serenity Prayer. You must never heard of it. The Serenity Prayer is the things you can do something about, and the things you cannot do something about. And the prayer says, "God grant me the you know the power to distinguish the ones I can do something about and from the ones I can't, and then do what work on the ones you can do something about, let go of the ones you cannot do something about. Why? If I put my energy into helping the Ukrainians at this point, I'm losing my life. Why? Energy is life, and the more energy you give away that doesn't affect your own life is lost life. What you want is the energy to maintain yourself in the environment and with safety and all that. Okay, and the idea is we're giving problems on the news that get our consciousness like, but these problems you can't do anything about. But you have now invested your energy, and now you're taking away from what your own life. So the old hippie saying, "I'm taking care of my backyard, and I'll do what I can if I have some influence. But if I have no influence, I am not using my consciousness, my body energy, my spirit to get involved, where I have no ability to influence, okay, and if you do that, you recover an amazing amount of life, and I love it because you mentioned recovering the energy when you went on the juice fast. You were recovering energy from what? Not digesting all that other stuff you ate, you recover your own energy. Well, there are many ways set your energy back because energy is life, and if you give away your energy, you are unknowingly giving away your life.

Alex Ferrari 1:12:58
And that's why they always say you have to be strong yourself because you before you help, like well, an airplane, like you must put oxygen on.

Bruce Lipton 1:13:03
I love that because that's a great one. Put your arm first before you help anybody else. Why? If you can't take care of yourself, how the hell are you going to be helpful to somebody?

Alex Ferrari 1:13:11
If you can't breathe, how can you help someone else breathe?

Bruce Lipton 1:13:13
This, this, and that. I love that because I use that in my lecture. Why? Because it's the true story, you have to take care of your health if you want to be a participant in the game.

Alex Ferrari 1:13:26
When the body passes,

Bruce Lipton 1:13:29
Yes.

Alex Ferrari 1:13:30
What when that signal? What happens to the signal the moment our body?

Bruce Lipton 1:13:34
There's a disconnect from that receptor.

Alex Ferrari 1:13:37
Okay,

Bruce Lipton 1:13:37
And as a result, there's no signal coming in. Then it's a breakdown of the machine because it's an automatic machine with a subconscious program, but it will break down without having the programmer in the machine at that point. And then you know we're off on it. Here's a quantum physics. Oh, we have quantum physics. That's that special weird physics. I remember going for my PhD. I had to take a physics course, and I was option take quantum physics or take the conventional Newtonian physics. And sort of like, I want to be a biologist. What the hell do I care? I don't take the easy physics. Quantum physics was weird. Okay, quantum physics is weird for people because if I say this, it sounds like that's weird. I go, it's the absolute scientific reality of the world we live in. Quantum physics is the most valid of all the sciences on planet Earth, and I thought, what is it? All of us grew up with the idea of a Newtonian physics, where the universe has two realms: a physical material realm and an invisible energy realm. And in Newtonian physics, if something is made out of matter, it can only be affected by matter. If something is made out of energy, it can only be affected by energy. But matter and energy don't communicate. Well, hey, medicine. There's a thing called mind and spirituality. Well, those are energy fields. Medicine has never included, included, or put in mind and spirit as part of a medical aspect of a human life. When I was in a professor in medical school, you never mentioned the word spirit or consciousness. It wasn't relevant to the physical human body. And the fact is, now quantum physics comes in in 1927. Said what was the relevance? Well, they were taking the atom apart. Okay, first it was like this giant sand grain. Then in 1895 we got the image most people have been programmed with a nucleus with protons and neutrons and satellites of electrons running around the outside, so we got that model called the Bohr atom. But they took that apart, and they found there was a smaller thing-a truck, a clock-and then they took those apart. When they got to the bottom, it wasn't physical. The basis of an atom is an energy vortex, like a nano tornado. It's energy. Well, an atom is made out of energy. I go, yeah. Everything is made out of energy, whether it looks like matter or it's invisible. Okay. So why I'm bringing this up is there's a quote profoundly important. Okay, that quote is from Albert Einstein: "The field, which is the invisible energy, we're in a field right now. We're in your studio, but oh, the broadcast waves from TV and radio, cell phones. We're in an aquarium of energy, a field. The quote: The field is the sole governing agency of matter. The invisible field shapes our experience in the material world. Okay. Now, the first thing people say: Well, great, Bruce. If energy is invisible, how the hell can I see you? And then I give them the answer, and they always giggle, and I go, "It's the answer. I say, "What is it? You can only see me when the lights are on. Oh, no, no, no! You see, a light has photon particles, and when a light source sends photons, and whenever it hits an energy field like my body, the photons are deflected back. So the light hitting me hits my body, but the light bounces back into

Bruce Lipton 1:17:54
Into the eye of the receiver. What's the point? Underneath a veneer of photons. The body's invisible. I go, yeah. The new scans, CAT scan, MRI scan, PET scan. They don't read matter; they read energy. I say, so what? I say, look at a CAT scan. There are the bones. There are the muscles. There are the organs. I say, you're looking at energy fields. That that device doesn't really matter, so you can see every part of the human body is an energy field. Back to his quote, the field is the soul-going agency of master. Aha! And then this part comes in, and it's like, oh yeah. I said, what is it? The brain energizes in consciousness, which is what an energy field. I can read your consciousness wires on your head, electroencephalograph (EEG) Well, that allows to believe my thoughts are in my head. Okay, a newer device called MEG magnetoence reads brain function. Yeah, but I said what? The probe is out here. I said what? What does that mean? My thoughts are not in my head. I'm broadcasting my thoughts as what energy fields. There. energy field is the sole governing agency of master. Our thoughts are manifesting all of this. It's from our thought, and my thoughts manifest my version. Your thoughts manifest your version.

Alex Ferrari 1:19:37
So then, what happens when two come into one, like I interact with you. How does that work?

Bruce Lipton 1:19:43
That is such a perfect response for this reason because I have a perfect answer, and the answer is this: My thought is an energy field. There's an amplitude, a power to my thought. My thought affects my field. It does not affect your field. But if we share the same thought, then we add up the amplitude of my thought, the amplitude of your thought, and if 1000 people are sharing the same thought, then it's 1000 times the amplitude of that energy field, or a million times. I mean, then what? The power of that creative, you know, feel of the sources that we commonly agree to, okay, become so powerful they manifest the reality that we are experiencing. A civilization is based on the thoughts that hold that civilization together. When the thoughts of the people change; the new thoughts generate a new civilization,

Alex Ferrari 1:20:45
And that's what's kind of happening now with this awakening.

Bruce Lipton 1:20:47
Awakening says, "Yeah, the way we were living, I thought I can do what I want. It's not going to work. So we need a new thought, and that the more of us that come together, the greater the amplitude of that field in shaping the world. Now, just as a sidelight, because it's fun, I'm broadcasting my thought. I said, "Yeah, but I'm receiving a field. Well, the thought and the field are in the same vibrational frequency. So what? My life experiences go back and alter my source. It's called karma. You came in with a frequency, but your life, as a result of you manifesting your frequencies, is altering your source frequency. You change who you are by living this life. If you have a negative life, you've made a negative vibration in that field.

Alex Ferrari 1:21:51
But how about if you come back into this life in a positive scenario, but you have bad things happen to you or something along those lines?

Bruce Lipton 1:21:56
That's why we, when we come back, I don't think there's chance. I think we ends up saying, "I need to balance what I did in the past by this new version, and if you understand it and manifest it, you can cancel the karma, especially negative karma. Then what? Then your life is based on what? Harmony and beauty. But if you come in with a crooked karma, your life is not harming at all, and so all of a sudden it says, "Wow, we came here to manifest heaven on earth. If we do it in a negative way, we've altered who we are as a source, and when we come back the next time you're given an opportunity to compensate for the previous programming and enhance yourself. And when you get back into the beautiful energy of the spirit, then you're back in harmony. And when you're back in harmony, then the idea you came here to manifest heaven. You have it.

Alex Ferrari 1:23:03
What gives you the most hope about our future as as a species?

Bruce Lipton 1:23:08
Well, there's a personal level. My life was not in harmony. My life was a conventional working hard, struggling. You know, trying to make it, and then understanding. the knowledge power, and this is very important, people. This is so important. You can get smart. You can download. Oh yeah, that's how it works. Yeah, I heard Bruce talk about this. Yeah, that makes great sense. I go, that's in your conscious mind, but the conscious mind only working 5% of the day is not your life. Your life is a program. So here's an important point: you can educate that conscious mind, be super super smart, but if you don't use that knowledge in the day-to-day life experiences coming from the programs, that knowledge in your head 100% useless. This is what one question I don't think we ever answer. Come back to it. How come I have great wishes to be like Bruce said? I could have heaven on earth. I can have great harmony. I have this reason in my head. My life doesn't look like this. I go because of what I just said. The wishes 5% If you don't change the program, I don't care how much your wishes are. You cannot manifest your wishes because your programming is what's manifesting your life. You have to change your thought. You have to change your consciousness to accommodate a new belief system. If you just keep it in your head, and I gave you a test, you say, "Oh yeah, I can get 100. Bruce said all this. It was 100% of what he said. I said, and how much of it is in your life? Well, not really. I go, well, then guess what? All that knowledge is useless. You must apply it. You heard about juice fasting before you did juice fasting. You studied it. You said, this is, this is good idea. I don't care how much you study it. It didn't change your life until what you did the juice fast.

Alex Ferrari 1:25:28
Same thing with everything.

Bruce Lipton 1:25:29
This is the whole idea. Yeah, you know, let's educate people. I go, we can educate them. There's a whole saying you can take a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. I can educate you with this great knowledge, but if you don't use it, it's not relevant to anybody, including yourself, of course.

Alex Ferrari 1:25:48
So, is there anything in our future that scares you? That scares me. That scares you about what humanity is going. Where yeah, can go the option.

Bruce Lipton 1:25:58
If they, if it's the option to wake up, okay. It's an option to take this knowledge and make a life out of it. I call it an option because it's not required, and if people don't change, the writing on the wall is the end. It's coming, and it's not that far into the future. So, as a negative side. Say, yeah, the potential is negative, but the positive side is, hey, people are waking up now. If I can get them not just to wake up, but use the knowledge they're waking up to the new world. I know it exists. Why? I live in that world. My life is not the way it was for the first 40 years of my life.

Alex Ferrari 1:26:44
Agree.

Bruce Lipton 1:26:44
I live a. I love my life. I wake up every day. I don't know what's going to happen, but I also know I'm still mastering my response and how I'm going to respond to this thing. And I wish people would understand that because people as a group want the same thing.

Alex Ferrari 1:27:05
Absolutely, I you know the more I travel around the world, I know you've traveled around the world 1000 times already at this point in your career. I just I just kind of came to realizations like everybody, no matter where they are, they want the same thing. They want to be loved. Yeah, they want safety for their family. They want to follow their dreams. They all have it. Everyone has the same, the same core wants: safety, a roof over their head, a job, a job, a purpose, food in their belly, love from somebody else, love from their farming, harmony. Everybody wants it. When you find a group of people who don't have that. There's a program in there.

Bruce Lipton 1:27:43
Oh yes,

Alex Ferrari 1:27:44
That's a really bad or negative program. Like you don't believe what I believe, I must kill you. As opposed to that's one program, or you don't believe what I don't believe. Let's talk about it. I'd love to hear your point of view, and maybe just maybe I might find something interesting there, or maybe I could just live and let live.

Bruce Lipton 1:28:01
Yeah, it's interesting because we talk about polar experiences, the opposites. Okay, what people have to recognize, although things appear to be opposites, they're on the same wavelength, so to speak, the same scale, just one end versus the other end. Very interesting point. The Arab Spring started in Tunisia when a man who was so oppressed by the government to do his business with a food tribe burned himself alive in front of the parliament.

Alex Ferrari 1:28:33
Yes,

Bruce Lipton 1:28:34
He said, "I can't live here. I can't burn himself. They got rid of the dictator. Then they had a problem. They had a parliament, and Parliament said, "Well, we have to. What can we replace the district with? We need to make a constitution. And for a year, it was polar versus polar in that parliament. Argument, argument, argument, argument. Nobody got anywhere. The next year, women got voted into the parliament the first time. Sure, and a profound difference happened with women. They said, "Look, you guys have been spending your time fighting each other as pollers. This belief, that belief. They said, "Why don't we start in the middle, where both sides believe the same thing, rather than starting with both sides don't believe, really believe about education. Yeah, both sides we should have education. What about healthcare? Yeah, both sides we should have health care. You know, putting all that together, they created a constitution based on the harmony that was the best is the best constitution of any country in the entire world. It was such a great constitution; they got a Nobel Prize for this. I said, "What was the difference?" Get out of the polarity. Come to the midground. The midground allows me to see your side and to see your side at the same time, and that way I can pick from both sides. Right now, polarized, and the idea is well, and my side is against your side, and they're not going to come to an agreement until we kill each other over which side. When it was women who bring the harmony in, men bring the polarity, and women bring the harmony.

Alex Ferrari 1:30:36
Is it because women like are more cooperative by nature, nurturing by nature than men. Men are more aggressive.

Bruce Lipton 1:30:43
If we had the time, I would love to show you the the difference. Are two kinds of bonds, chemical bonds that make up this universe.

Alex Ferrari 1:30:51
Okay.

Bruce Lipton 1:30:52
One is called a polar bond. The other is called a nonpolar bond. A polar bond is like an arrow, positive on one side, negative on the other side. A nonpolar bond is like a benzene ring, like a ring. I say why? Because the charge is running around the ring. There's no one side or the other side. It's a harmony, balance. Okay. Fats are nonpolar. protein is polar. I go before there were sexes. Both things were required for a cell. The the nonpolar was the digestive system and the metabolism and reproduction. The polar was the skeleton, the support and the protection. When differentiation occurred, the males acquire the job of the polarity, the muscle which has a positive negative muscle, is the arrow. Okay, so when a bunch of men come together, they line up the arrows, positive, negative, positive, negative, positive, negative. When women come together, they form that benzene ring, a circle of harmony. And men, their original job was what protection and support of the female, which allowed her to do the reproduction and the vegetation, the women were the goddesses of plants. Okay, the men were the powerful forces. Okay, well, balance is when they come together. Imbalance is when where we are right now, the men polarizing, the women have been put off to the side. Okay, and the balance has to. The women have to come back to just like continue to and temper the men's polarity and return them to what is the job of a male support of what the female? Why? Where you think vegetation is coming from the plants? It's female, reproduction of female. So physically support him and protect them. That is the mission, but the mission is men win, women who are they? And that's like, well, that's completely out of balance.

Alex Ferrari 1:33:25
That's been like that for forever, but

Bruce Lipton 1:33:29
Not forever because there was a matriarchal period where the women were in charge.

Alex Ferrari 1:33:32
When was this?

Bruce Lipton 1:33:33
Oh, back to ancient Greece before you know, just before ancient Greece.

Alex Ferrari 1:33:37
I mean, if you if you look at the Spartans, the Spartans were the male, but the women were renowned with their power.

Bruce Lipton 1:33:44
Yeah,

Alex Ferrari 1:33:44
As well.

Bruce Lipton 1:33:46
They were the ones that gave the omens the future, the reading of what was going on.

Alex Ferrari 1:33:51
Oh, the oracle.

Bruce Lipton 1:33:51
The oracle, right? Yeah, the oracle. Interesting. The U.S. evolved from the Age of Enlightenment. I know 1700s. I say so what I say, go to Europe. It was a caste system: upper class, lower class. The lower class were slaves without the change, meaning if you want to survive, you have to work for the baron, the upper class.

Alex Ferrari 1:34:20
Yeah, the king, the Queen, right.

Bruce Lipton 1:34:21
Yeah, has it worked for them? Okay, and the Age of Enlightenment spoke of a utopian world where you can become whatever you want to be, not based on your birth as lower class, upper. You can do what you want. John Locke in England was one of the philosophers, and this guy Rousseau, Jean Rousseau, in France, and Rousseau wrote about the utopian world, where you can become what you want to be. Harmony, regardless,

Alex Ferrari 1:34:53
Radical, radical.

Bruce Lipton 1:34:54
Where did he get his idea? He studied American. Indians than Native Americans, and said, "Look, they all live in harmony. The women and the men were in harmony. When we created the U.S. government, founding fathers Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, the Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution were predicated on the Native American government that was here when the Europeans fled the slavery of Europe to the freedom of coming to North America and be what they want to be, they even wore the buckskin of the Indians. They did. They lived like the Native Americans. Why harmony? Okay, and so the beautiful part about that is women had a very important role. They had a house, a Congress, the House of Representatives equivalent were representatives from the different tribes. Sure.

Alex Ferrari 1:35:57
Yeah.

Bruce Lipton 1:35:58
The Senate, the highest house, the one that makes the decision, War and Peace, was called the Council of Grandmothers. It was only women who were in the Senate. But when the Europeans came and copied,

Alex Ferrari 1:36:14
Can't have that.

Bruce Lipton 1:36:15
They couldn't have that. wasn't in the world that women could be involved. So they just put more men in the other house, and both houses now are filled with men fighting each other. But the Native Americans, the women, and something else-it was called the children's fire. And what that was was here in the background were all the people in the government of the Native Americans, but in the front of them was a fire where the children sat, and the whole point of it was that the government in the back was to see the future of the child, to plan seven generations ahead of what Supporting the children, and that children's fire made sure that harmony prevailed for the children. We don't have anything like that. We have the fight guys in the back fighting over how much money and who's got the power and all that BS, and we lost why the Europeans even came to North America.

Alex Ferrari 1:37:24
Is do you do you believe that this? I think it's a sickness of greed and more, and I need to accumulate more and more and more. Because at a certain point, you know, Bruce, if you make a certain amount of money, you're you're done. You can live a comfortable life, and if you make a little bit more, maybe your generations-if you're smart with your money-generations behind you will be fine. But then there's these people who are just obsessed with how much money they're making.

Bruce Lipton 1:37:56
Money, money is power. Money is tangible energy. It's physical. If I have money, I can buy it. I can get it.

Alex Ferrari 1:38:04
I can control it.

Bruce Lipton 1:38:05
I can control it, and that's Darwinian. The theorist says power. I said, well, what in our world is power? Money. That drives the 1% to get as much money as they can get. I go, how many trillion dollars do you need? And the idea was, according to your theory, there's no limit. The theory is make as much as you can. And here's the problem, my friends: there is no morality in Darwinian theory. What I mean, whatever it takes to win, I don't care how you do it. You mean 1000 people will suffer if I do this, but I win. Well, those 1000 are not fit.

Alex Ferrari 1:38:51
There's a story that has to be told about those 1000.

Bruce Lipton 1:38:55
Yeah, about the survival of the fittest. I'm the fittest. Why I have the money? I don't care about them. They're not fit,

Alex Ferrari 1:39:01
But but Bruce, don't you believe that inherently humanity comes in with an empathy?

Bruce Lipton 1:39:06
100%

Alex Ferrari 1:39:08
But that's been blocked out.

Bruce Lipton 1:39:09
Yeah, but that's programming. This child is born in love. A child doesn't have any idea other than harmony. I show a video. It's really interesting. It's an infant. I'm infant infant, infant, and there's this little bit of a puppet show, more or less, and it has a circle rolling to go up a hill, and there are two other players. There's a square and a triangle, so the rolling one's trying to go up the hill and falling back and dries and keeps going until it gets to the top. Then they introduce the triangle, and the triangle comes in as the rolling circle is trying to go up. The triangle is pushing to help it get to the top. Okay. The next thing is a square. The square is at the top, and as the searcher is trying to get up, the square pushes it down. Now the infant, after seeing this a number of times, the person running the show comes out with a tray, and on it is a triangle and a square, and it shows it to the infant. The infant picks up the triangle and will not pick up the square. Why? The triangle was the one that helped. The square was the one that pushed the circle down the hill, and the infant sees that and already makes his decision. The triangle is friendly. The square is not. At an infant level, the child was born with harmony is better than the square at that moment. The child is born with this.

Alex Ferrari 1:40:59
It's all programming.

Bruce Lipton 1:41:00
But then they're in a program in the family, and I say, "Well, how much of that family is dog winning? I say, "All of them. I said, "How much of them are so dependent on the competition that you know killing somebody? That's a way of life. I'm sorry, that guy was challenging my survival. I do what I need to. They program the love out of that child.

Alex Ferrari 1:41:26
Let me ask you this, Bruce: What does a healed civilization look like? Not only spiritually, but biologically as well.

Bruce Lipton 1:41:35
A garden. It's a garden where everybody is in harmony. We love each other, help each other, support each other. There's nobody living on the street. There's nobody, you know, starving in that world. That you know, humans are supposed to be mammals, which by definition means nurturer, nurturing. taking care. I give you example in the lecture. I talk about dolphins. Dolphins are mammoths. They have to breathe air, even though they're underwater. They have to come up and breathe air. If a dolphin gets sick, the other dolphins in that pod that they're in will lift up the sick one, bring it to the surface so it can breathe, and then let it back down again. That is nurturing. That is taking care. We are designed to be nurturers, but the program has taken away where screw that one can't breathe. That's his problem. I I can breathe. Screw them. It's like that's not nurturing. That's dog reading. This is why I finally had to write the book because nature said you have the answer. You've had it for 20 years.

Alex Ferrari 1:42:58
What's up, man?

Bruce Lipton 1:43:01
So that's why the book is called Beyond Darwin, because it's Darwin theory that puts us in this position that acknowledges. Well, that's okay. It's based on competition, survival of the fittest. A loser not fit enough, and that's why they're a loser. So don't worry about losers.

Alex Ferrari 1:43:20
So how's the book being received?

Bruce Lipton 1:43:23
First week out, New York Times bestseller.

Alex Ferrari 1:43:25
That's beautiful.

Bruce Lipton 1:43:26
It was wonderful. I I want this, and you say what? Because I want to sell books. I say no. That's not even the mission. The mission was, I want to wake people up. Now, biology belief has been around the world, sold millions of copies. Okay, but that's a community of people who are awakening to belief in biology. There's a large population that are sleepwalking through this thing, buying the show on TV, buying the ad on TV, buying the news and just sleepwalking. I was thankful for the New York Times bestseller list on my book because it opens it up to that community instead of the same one I keep talking to. I'm talking to the converted choir. I'm talking to the. They don't really know what I'm talking about. It's the other ones I want to wake up.

Alex Ferrari 1:44:24
That's exactly what.

Bruce Lipton 1:44:25
And so the New York Times bestseller accommodation for me.

Alex Ferrari 1:44:31
That's awesome.

Bruce Lipton 1:44:32
Opens up this to people who will not normally read that book.

Alex Ferrari 1:44:38
Bruce, where can people find out more about you and the amazing work you're doing,

Bruce Lipton 1:44:41
I love it. So simple, ready? brucelipton.com.

Alex Ferrari 1:44:45
It's good. It's good marketing. Has a zing to it. Very nice.

Bruce Lipton 1:44:48
It has everything we're talking about. It has written articles. It has audio presentation. We'll have this podcast as well as other video podcasts. Why? It's a resource. Space, all of it is free. Download for free, all of it. Why? What good is if I'm the only guy who is saying I know how to live in harmony, and you don't? So it's like, if you live in harmony, my life is better, and that is why I want to be surrounded by people who live in harmony, because on the outside the disharmony people are far away. They're not affecting me. The bigger the circle, the more harmony. And what would be we've been talking about was the destination. When we all wake up as a part of the garden where the idea is to be nurturers, take care of each other, take care of the garden, and wake up and do what enjoy the life. I frequently ask people. I say, when was the last time you saw a sunset? Most people can't even remember. And I go, I ask that because I lived in the Caribbean for a number of years.

Alex Ferrari 1:46:06
Beautiful, isn't it?

Bruce Lipton 1:46:07
Oh my God!

Alex Ferrari 1:46:08
That water.

Bruce Lipton 1:46:08
It was. It was. It was. I would love to go back. Yeah. And the point about at sunset, almost everybody comes out on the beach.

Alex Ferrari 1:46:17
Of course.

Bruce Lipton 1:46:18
And they're just quiet. They just sit there in contemplation. They watch the sun go down, and they leave in harmony and they leave in peace. And this is what the sunset always reminds me of-a moment of quietness. Sit there, enjoy the beauty of the sunset, it's peace and harmony with everybody. It's like wow, that is a destination,

Alex Ferrari 1:46:51
