Pineal Gland

The pineal gland is a small, pea-sized gland deep in the brain, and in metaphysical teaching it is the physical doorway to the third eye. Mystics have long called it the seat of the soul, the place where spirit meets body and inner vision awakens. Stillness, meditation, and time in darkness are said to stir it.
