He DIED… and SAW the TRUTH of HEAVEN! This Story Will MOVE You with Stephen Chong

There are moments in life when an accident becomes an awakening. On today’s episode, we welcome Stephen Chong, an author and spiritual teacher whose near-death experience opened visions of the afterlife, the laws of heaven, and the boundless nature of love.

Stephen’s story began in the most ordinary way—cleaning gutters on a quiet Saturday morning. One slip of the ladder left him injured, his neck fractured, and his life hanging in the balance. Yet in the silence of recovery, something extraordinary happened. He began receiving vivid visions of heaven and the afterlife. “It was like taking dictation,” he recalls, “as if the story had always been waiting.” From that moment, his spiritual awakening unfolded as he wrote of healing arenas, angelic beings, and the laws that govern both this life and the next.

He describes entering a great healing arena, vast as a coliseum, filled with radiant souls chanting in harmony. Angelic beings guided light into those reclining in chairs, restoring them completely. The most powerful revelation was this: the burdens caused by others on Earth are not carried into heaven. In Stephen’s words, “If someone wrongs you, you are not punished for their deeds; you are relieved of them.” This insight offers deep comfort, showing that in the afterlife, souls are renewed, and only love remains.

Stephen’s journey also revealed the darker places of the afterlife—the nether regions where souls lingered, not from divine punishment, but from their own choices. He saw vortices of power holding them in place, bound by wrath, greed, or lust, until a moment of redemption freed them. These visions shattered the old idea of eternal damnation. Instead, he saw the afterlife as a school of the soul, a place of continuous evolution where healing and growth never cease.

Among the most beautiful of his revelations was the Hall for Children. He describes it as a sacred place where children who pass too soon are surrounded with divine love. “It was like a warm blanket on a cold day,” he said, recalling the overwhelming sense of compassion and warmth he felt. Each child was cherished beyond measure, nurtured by the Father and the angels. His vision reminds us that no life is forgotten, and every soul, no matter how brief their time on Earth, is forever held in love.

Stephen also witnessed the Abode of Reunion, a realm where souls meet loved ones in dreams, offering guidance and comfort before returning to the body. He saw silver cords stretching between heaven and earth, representing the bonds of love that never break. Even in sleep, we are guided. And in his words, “We are teardrops from the eye of the Father, each carrying a purpose to fulfill.” This profound truth reminds us that our lives matter deeply, and that nothing is wasted in the journey of the soul.

SPIRITUAL TAKEAWAYS

  1. A near-death experience can reveal that suffering caused by others is not carried into heaven—only love and healing remain.

  2. The afterlife is not eternal punishment, but a remedial process of soul growth and spiritual awakening.

  3. Every soul, including children taken too soon, is fully loved, guided, and nurtured by the Divine in heaven.

Stephen’s visions included schools for spirit guides, robes of light that revealed a soul’s path, and portals of reunion where loved ones meet beyond the veil. Yet his most profound message was simple: love is the law that underpins both heaven and earth. The afterlife is not a place of fear, but of learning, healing, and ultimately returning to the eternal embrace of love.

Tell me what your life was like before you died.

Stephen Chong 0:08
I was up cleaning it as you do. You're up cleaning out the gutters, and it was a Saturday morning, and normally my wife is absent, going shopping or doing things and the latter slip, and if you can see behind me, I have these louver windows, so the the latter went through all of these louvers, like glass everywhere. But I'm about five meters off the ground here, so I'm in a screaming heap, calling out my wife's name, yeah, this and I couldn't feel anything. I couldn't feel my body really. I thought, Oh, I'm I'm in trouble, but here we stand. The paramedics came and, you know, thanks to the gods that were there, on the day things work, I fractured my neck, but yeah, through the course of rehabilitation, all is all as well. So thankful to all and the experience came consequential of the accident. So during rehabilitation, I had this, the title of the book, going through my head whilst I'm lying on the couch in this rehabilitation and eventually I've given in. I said, Okay, to the universe, if you want me to write this thing, you I have no idea. I don't know. You want me to write about the afterlife. What what do? I know I'm not there yet, but I bought in the process, and said, Okay, do you want me to write it? And from that point, it was like being, don't like the term, but given a superpower. And as I sat down to write again, prior, I had no storyline, no characters, no nothing. It was like was, there. It was a was a cascade. I sat down to write, and I saw these things and heard the music and saw the colors, and it was like taking dictation. All I had to do was kind of interpret what I saw, and therein lies the majesty the experience, because I say previously, like, shut down. I'm not doing anymore, but it was all there waiting for me, which was the greatest gift. So I'm seeing through the eyes of this character in heaven, and the character himself in life. Was a young man who was abused under the auspices of the clergy, and he was stuck in this purgatory by virtue of the guilt and the shame and the anger that he felt. He was stuck there, and this is what I'm seeing. He's there and doesn't know how to get out. And the story evolves with the Bishop of the sea whose past under whose insouciance this young man was abused. They come together in relationships, and by virtue of the forgiveness that are able to show one another, they then move through the different levels of heaven. So they were through his through this character's eyes, he was taken through the different levels of heaven. But I'm seeing and trying to interpret, to the best of my abilities, what this character was experiencing. The first experience that comes to mind is the healing arena. Now this character, his name is. He was taken to this if you can imagine a huge Coliseum. And in like the in the audience, there's always beautiful souls, cutlers and music, and they're all chanting the OM sound. So there's all this beautiful spirit around. And in the middle of this arena were these lounges, recliner chairs. So I'm just seeing this and and writing this into the uranic escorted by these Seraphim, beautiful little angels with these primit souls. And they were put on these lounge chairs. And then in walked this angelic beings to describe it. And then he started to manipulate the energy. And in, like in a magnetic ball. And from the magnetic ball shot down this, these streams of light into these souls that were reclined on the couches. From there, once he'd finished his his work, these souls were totally renewed. So they were whatever was their ailments were before they were totally renewed. But the interesting thing about that what I learned afterwards was souls that caused injury by others on Earth do not bear the consequences of those actions, so they are relieved of those burdens that are caused by others. If that makes sense, not what they did to themselves or not, what they not if i So, if I did a bad thing to you, you would not. You might be suffering under the weight of that that action, but you do not suffer the consequences of that action. So you relieved that those burdens. And that was what that magnetic coral was, I understand, was all about it again, whether you believe it or not, but that's what I saw, and that's what I interpreted. I guess you'd call it a spiritually awakening experience, no doubt about that, probably three or four months after writing the book, and you know, you do all the editing and read it 100 times, I'm missing something here, and it was like a revelation. And so I read through the book again, probably for the 100th time. What I. Now understand is not just a story and a description of what heaven is like. It describes inherent in the text are laws of heaven and earth, laws that underpin how the experiences happen in heaven and consequential of interactions on Earth. The levels of heaven are experienced. They're an exploration. So they're never there. It's an evolutionary process. So if we look at that second law, the judgment of Heaven is neither vindictive or eternal, but probation remedial in remedial. That means that in heaven, it is completely new, continuing to evolve through the evolutionary process. So whether that's reincarnation, reincarnation or not, I don't know. I was taken to the nether regions and saw that you like a landscape that was denuded by fire. So it was Yep, and the smell was awful. And remember, I'm seeing and smelling and hearing all this, and then taken through this immense portal. And remember, the character is guided by an angelic being, so he's not on his own he's taken there. Now what I saw were these huge vortices, vortices of power in which these souls were entrapped. And standing around these vortices of power were these angelic beings. And the way it was described to me, and what I saw was these souls are trapped by choice. It's not judgment trapped by virtue. Let's call them the seven deadly sins, the gluttony, the wrath, the lust, that sort of thing. So they're entrapped, entrapped by this choice. And these angelic beings were standing there waiting for the first signs of redemption. So as soon as they were able to escape from that point of choice, they were taken away to some other area. But what was explained is that it was not God's judgment, it was choice. In these souls were entrapped by choice. So that was, if that doesn't turn knowing that, if that doesn't turn away from parent choices, I don't know what will but then I was there. I was taken in the nether regions and then to even the higher levels. Right at the end of the book, I was taken up to these angelic areas with grand views of the music and the love and the colors that were were embedded through through all of our lives. The one that comes to mind was the this, a fire character, was taken into a hall for children. And remember, I'm seeing through his eyes, so I'm walking into this beautiful building, and I can even now feel the sense of overwhelming love that was in this place. And this place was the, what they call the hall for children, so children that have left the earth plane early, totally loved and nurtured by the Divine, by the Father and His angels. I can barely describe, hopefully, the love that I felt soon as I walked into this building. It was like a warm blanket on a cold day, but the love every all children, irrespective, irrespective of whether it ties to parental responsibilities are strong or whether those ties are severed, all are loved by the father, without exception. So I understand that we're all imbued with the divine purpose. We are a teardrop from the eye of the Father, and we all have a divine purpose to fulfill. That, to me, is it is an absolute given. What I saw, the the abode of reunion was, what I saw was this plane where the all these souls were standing, and they were in communion with other souls. And some of the souls had these silver cords stretching over these the mists, the myth between heaven and earth. I go, what the? What's this? And what it was explained is, when we sleep, when we, you know, sit in the body sleep, we are able to, soul is able to go to this abode of reunion and meet up with loved ones that are able to to guide and give us advice. So then that soul, you know, when, when the body wakes up, the other soul slips back in itself, that what, what I understand, it was that cord, that silver cord of attachment, was the love between we on Earth and that soul in heaven, that was so if we're burdened by a something or a problem or whatever, where the soul is able to get advice from those on the other side through that, that part of sleep. So when we pass we pass through these myths where our life is reviewed, and it's not the God sitting on his throne saying, No, you are a bad you are a bad dude. You're looking in the mirror of reflection and what you have done to cause to effect in in another but the interesting thing, what I saw from that is when we when the souls exit these mists, if you will. They were robed in this and the best I could describe it is, like your the aura you carry, but there's beautiful, like some were beautiful robes in all the colors. So some souls, and you can't render, you can't take this garment off. It's part of you. And some souls were coming through these mists with these beautiful colors, but others were coming through in light, passion, dark brown things. But what these what colors designate is the pathway that you then follow. What the Grand Master said to us, I go to prepare a house for you. So the colors of the robes designate the pathway that you then follow. So you kind of, you're really spiritual, good guy or person, you up, you go. But there were others that were had to follow. There was a character later around the book that tried to move up for these persons. You know, she was the station was higher than she thought, and she could not reach those higher levels. I was taken to a school for spirit guides, where spirit guides were actually taught how to be spirit guides, which is kind of cool, if you think about it. I'm in this kind of lecture theater and seeing there's all these souls there, and they're being instructed by a master guide to how to be spirit guides. That's what they did, which is kind of cool, and what's interesting, what come from that is we all without exception, have a spirit guide call upon without exception. I understand that our listening is a little bit intimate, but they are always there and have been. Is my understanding fulfilling your purpose, recognizing and fulfilling your purpose in life, and then having the courage to step across the bridge and getting it done. You know, there's no if I expand it from my own particular purpose, I don't want to come back. It's too hard here. Let's get it right this time so that we don't have to. But that's, you know, my simple head, the way things, you know, I there's a beautiful woman in my life who happens to be my mother, and lots of people come to see her for the for the grace that she gives them. And she she answered this question by saying that when she sees people coming up her driveway, she sees God. Now I don't espouse to be anywhere near her the elevation of her levels, but that's how she explained it, if I could get anywhere near that level, I'd be half happy to love it every opportunity love is all in there that's about expands It doesn't expands it.
