Death happened there. So much trauma happened on that spot. Can you explain to people what happens when something like that happens in a location?
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 0:08
When death comes, we can either go into the light, or we can be very scared, or very angry, or very something to not go. You know, energy goes and attaches itself there because energy cannot be created or destroyed, and because the souls are also trapped there, they are not really letting it go. It's a choice. You can't clear it because they are not choosing it. As a medium, I clear souls every day. So spots like this then become, you know, the reservoirs for this kind of emotion. And the moment you go inside with a fresh energy, it energy moves from high to low.
Alex Ferrari 0:42
Psychics, mediums, even channels, is determining what is it your brain making it up? Is it your imagination making it up? It's all those things you said, or is it an actual message?
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 0:54
Well, Alex, I'm going to bust a myth here...
Alex Ferrari 1:07
I like to welcome to the show Manmit Kumarr. How you doing, Dr. Kumarr?
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 1:12
Thank you, Alex. I'm doing wonderfully and lovely to be here.
Alex Ferrari 1:16
Thank you so much for being on the show. I'm I'm truly looking forward to talking to you because I have had a few psychic mediums that are from from India and do work in India, but it is not as well. It's not as popular as it is here in the states. Though, from my understanding, as you were telling me before we started, that it is on the rise, and people, the Indian culture is starting to embrace psychic mediumship more, but there's another thing that that is really ingrained, which is still in the metaphysical world, which is astrology. Correct?
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 1:51
Absolutely. So astrology is very much and very widely recognized here, and people practice it a lot. But psychic mediumship is coming up in a very big way. People are learning to understand what is intuition, sensitivity, information, and they are very happy to connect with the departed ones on the other side. You know, the veil is thinning literally, but it's also that people are learning to trust the intuition more.
Alex Ferrari 2:19
Yeah, and I'd imagine because ancestors are such a big part in the Indian culture and Hindu culture that I'd imagine that being able to speak to them would be something very appealing to them.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 2:31
Absolutely. So the way India looks at it as of now, they just honor the ancestors, which is a very big part. There is a festival for that called Shat, which happens in typically in the month of September, and it's a you know it's a two week process where one honors the ancestors through rituals, but nobody has brought it to light about what kind of family patterns would these ancestors be talking about if one was to connect with them. So that's interesting.
Alex Ferrari 3:02
Yeah, it's very much like what's similar to the Day of the Dead for for Mexicans, where they take a day and they it's all about their ancestors and and respecting them and visiting with them and so on. Well, let's go down your the rabbit hole that is Dr. Kumarr because you have a very interesting path, to say the least. So take me back when you were two years old. Something very, very interesting happened to you when you were two. What actually happened on that day?
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 3:33
I would remember my children, although I was a child myself, and my mother tells me that I would look at other people's children or pictures of little children and say that these are my children, and I would draw a woman with two children. So that was a little later when I knew how to draw, but I was very fascinated with two children. So whenever someone used to tell me that I'm a child. I would turn around and tell them that I'm not the child. I have two children, in whatever language and perception I could tell them at that point in time. And I strongly believe that it was my past life memory. And in one of my previous lives, I was a a woman who saw her children being shot and convoyed, so that just continued for a while. My mother had to erase it from my mind. My parents thought I'd seen a movie somewhere, and you know the impression stayed on with me. So it took them quite some months to literally delete that from my at least my conscious mind, and that's how they knew, but they didn't discuss it. And I knew that as I grew up, that there was something real, but we don't talk about it. You know, it was that. If you know what I'm saying,
Alex Ferrari 4:56
Absolutely. No, I I know exactly what you're saying, especially in those days. Where you don't, you definitely don't have conversations like this publicly, by any stretch. So then, when you also fell into a coma for three days in your youth, do you remember what happened when you were in that coma? Did anything happen when you were in that coma?
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 5:15
In the coma, I was-I won't say that I remember exactly what happened. There was a lot of going into the light and coming back. But what I do remember distinctly is the experience I had 12 years ago, where this whole thing exploded, because that was a very conscious experience. I wouldn't say it was, you know, designated death as such in a hospital, but that's how I perceived my identity literally dissolving my body there, and me watching my body. So for me, that was like leaving my body and seeing it somewhere else was a death-like experience. But all I can say is that all the experiences that I have had, Alex, have taken me, pulled me literally into another world, which felt familiar. And every time I had a choice, I knew I could stay, and I knew I could go back.
Alex Ferrari 6:12
So this near death like experience that you had when you when you were and this happened during the coma. Oh, this didn't happen during the coma. This happened about 12 years ago. About 12 years ago. All right. So when you were doing that 12 years ago, what? So you didn't die, or how? Explain to me what happened.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 6:32
So I had walked out of a of my marriage with two very young children and a lot of responsibility. And in India, it's considered to be a big taboo to work out of your marriage, however good or bad it may be. And I had my dad's support, and he he was staying with me. I remember I had lost my mother to cancer just a year ago, so it was a time where everything was very intense. The marriage ending, my mother sort of passing on, children very young. I had a job that would keep me out of the country for about 10 to 12 days a month, and my children were very young. So I would experience intense anxiety and panic, and I would reach the hospital, and they would say, "Oh, you just have anxiety. They would give me an anti-anxiety drug, and I would come back. This started to increase as a pattern. And one night, as I was on my bed, I felt an intense choking feeling. The feeling was of choking, a lot of pressure on the chest, and it almost felt like you're just going to move out of your body, so I knew that I was dying, but there was nothing I could do about it. I couldn't even reach my phone, and it's just that period before death where they are so helpless, and suddenly there's a surrender. You just think, okay, now nothing's left. It's in just a few moments. I'm going to go off, and I did go off, not medically, but I felt that I had left my body, and at the level of the ceiling fan, I could actually see myself lying down on the bed. I perceived a thin cord between who I was on the fan and the body that was there. It was not a scary feeling, nor was it a happy feeling. It was a very confused feeling. Where am I? What is happening? And I'd always heard that there's going to be a bright white light and all of that, but there was no light. Nobody came to take me, so it was even more confusing because no one came. Where are the ancestors? Where were the people who were supposed to be there? And then I started hearing a lot of voices that were not scary. It seemed like somebody had opened a large door, and I could hear a lot of voices, and they were talking amongst themselves. And then one decided to talk to me. And later on, I was to figure that they were my spirit guides. At that point, it was very chaotic and confusing. And they told me that this is not death. This is your. We wanted to get your attention, and we want to tell you that your purpose is not really met. I want to tell you that I'm a very scientific person. I grew up in an army family. I've done my microbiology. Then I've done my masters in business. Then I've been in the corporate world for 19 years. Everything's very left-brain. If someone like that tells me that you don't, you had a purpose and you've not met it, and therefore we have sort of got your attention like that. It's the most bizarre thing that anyone could have thought, and I of course thought I've lost it totally. But the things that they proceeded to tell me and the way they told me may. Me realize that disbelief was very difficult. Not that I was believing what was happening, but they made disbelief impossible. The signs they gave me, the messages they gave me, I kept telling them. I said, "Okay, if this is true, then show me this. If this is true, then let me know this. And it exactly happened like that. And by then, I realized that the senses that I had taken for granted, which means that when I look at people, I have a you know energy reading of them, had become heightened, more heightened. I would not say that this experience exploded my senses and I discovered them. No, it was not like that. But it heightened them and it made it more real. So that's what happened that night.
Alex Ferrari 10:52
When you came back, how did you process it? Because being such a left brain person, how could you just process it? I mean, I understand the people getting the other side getting your attention, and that happens in multiple ways. Either you have an actual near death experience where you die and come back. That's the most extreme, in my opinion, version of it. This was a an NDE light version, but and then there's visions and other sorts of metaphysical experiences that people have, whether in meditation or something happened or someone appears to them or something happens in a dream. That something that's undeniable in a way that you're just like, I don't believe what's going on? But this happened, and I can't deny that happened to myself. I can deny it to others, but I can't deny to myself because that actually happened to me. How did you process being such a left brain, practical kind of grounded person?
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 11:57
Yeah, I discussed it with two of my friends who clearly thought, but they didn't tell me. But I could imagine them thinking that I have lost it. It was almost like so. I asked one of them. I said, "Is this what you are thinking? He said, "No. I said, "No, no. Let me tell you the language in which you are thinking this. You are thinking this right now in Tamil. And he said, "How do you know? So I said, "Look, see. So when I would go to people, and so I asked spirit. I said, "You know what do you want me to do? Because I don't have any contacts. I don't know where to go. I'm not. I don't have a guru. I don't have a school to refer to. You want me to suddenly just get up one day and say, 'Look, now you have psychic abilities. Do what? So they said, and leave your job. I said, are you kidding me? So they said, okay. If we give you tangible proof, I said, even if you gave me tangible proof, who will give me business? I have two young children to take care of. So they said, okay, first let's get the proof in order. So I said, okay, and I went to a doctor and I went and told him very honestly. I said, you know, because of intense stress, something's happening to me, and I want you to, you know, examine me and all that. And he said, "How do you know that? I said, "I know that because I have these visions and all that. And by the way, he was a believer, so he said, "Okay, are you very sure that this is what it is? I said, "Yes, yes, please, please take a brain X-ray, does that? And there was a report lying on his table, it was a sealed envelope, and he said, "Okay. He was talking to one of his assistants, and he said, "Okay, just give me this report. And he said, "Okay, what do you think is there in this report? And I said, "I don't know what the report is, but I I can see one number, 7.03, and it was a sealed report. He opened that report. It was a test of some sort, and there was the number 7.03. Now both of us kept looking at it and kept looking at each other. Now both of us didn't know what to do. So he says, you know, just relax, give it some, give it a few days, and let's see what happens. So they were intense experiences. They were intense signs. I could not ignore them. At the same time, I couldn't leave my job. It was simply not possible. And what would I do just with a sign? So it it was tough. Those six months were tough. I kept thinking, what will I do? What will I do? But trust me, when I left my job, also I didn't have a clue what to do because when I would make short videos, and I'll I would love to share one with you where I'm saying, hi, I'm Manit Kumar. I'm a psychic, and people would listen to it and say, "Are you psycho? I mean, what does this mean? And I said, "Oh my God! Now I have to bring the word to the country because they used to think I'm, you know, cuckoo.
Alex Ferrari 14:33
Of course.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 14:34
And and and they said, "Why are you making a video on this? That there's something wrong with you. It started from there, Alex, and it's been a journey. It's been a journey from being perceived as somebody who was not stable to now teaching for 10 years and having batches all across the world. God has been very kind, and I think I still watch that video where people have written saying, "What is wrong with?" You know, so that that's the journey.
Alex Ferrari 15:04
So you actually did. You just kind of took a leap of faith, but it was it was small steps. You didn't jump. You took little steps, but it took you six months to finally leave your job. And then when you leave your job, that was the big just like I'm going into the unknown, and then you make a video that says, "Hey, I'm a psychic medium now, and everyone's like, "Are you out of your mind? What's wrong with you? I'm assuming your friends and family were all very concerned because you had a my father had a successful marriage. Yeah, yeah, your father
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 15:36
And you made me have three offer letters in my hand before I left my job, and he said, "You know, I'll give you three months. Otherwise, these are the offer letters you will take. And I said, "Okay. And I actually promised the CEOs of this company that I would work with them, and I told them that, "Look, I'm taking a three-month break. And they said, "We will hire you. You go for it. And Alex, from the first month onwards, there was no looking back. There was I don't know where the clients came from. I had no social media experience. I didn't know a thing. I didn't know a thing. I'm telling you, I made videos and I said I'm a psychic and people would troll me. It's like who's going to come to me? But they just kept coming. They just kept coming. They just kept coming.
Alex Ferrari 16:21
It's it's fascinating when you actually get a message like that, or you have an instinct to do something, and you take the leap. You need to take the leap for the universe to be able to help you, and then once that happens, and then the universe sends you what you need in an unexplainable, unrational, unlogical way, kind of like a filmmaker, kind of like a filmmaker who starts a spiritual podcast and has no experience whatsoever in spiritual. It's been a spiritual podcast, and it and it turns into what we have today. So it's it's it's fascinating, but it is scary. So I relate very much to your story because people, I didn't get trolled as much because I didn't come out and say I was a psychic medium, but I but I slowly, quietly, while still doing the other thing, started to do my thing down this path, and then I would get calls every once. Alex, what are you doing? Like, are you are you? Did you find did you find Jesus? That was one of my best friends. One of my good friends were like, I so I see you found Jesus now. I'm like, well, first of all, he's not lost, and secondly, I didn't find him. But it's it's fascinating. So a good lesson for everyone listening is that if you hear that call, don't go crazy. But in a sense, like don't just drop everything and start doing it. Think about how you're going to do it, but you have to start moving towards that direction. I'm still very, I'm still very logical in that sense. I'm like, look, I'm not going to just leave my job because I had a vision. Like, I'm still, I'm not that guy yet. I wish I was. I'm like, literally,
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 17:54
And you should be. But, but I have to say this here, Alex, that sometimes you will not know when they play their hand. You just think it's happening one after the other, and then suddenly, like okay. Like for example, I never, ever, ever thought that I would teach tantra, ever. It is being told as a psychic medium, and then this is level two again. So you're a lady. You're in India. You're going to teach tantra. Really? How? Why? What gives?
Alex Ferrari 18:27
And what is tantra? Can you explain to people what tantra is if they don't know?
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 18:30
Tantra is a path of transformation. It's a path. It's in simple words. It is about holding consciousness and transmit it. That's it. We make it about sex. We make it about rituals, voodoo. It's not that. It is literally about raising your consciousness to a level that you can hold the experiences. So psychic mediumship gives you visions. Mediumship helps you to interact on the other side, but tantra helps you to hold that information and transform it totally.
Alex Ferrari 19:14
What do you mean by transformation? What do you mean by transformation?
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 19:17
You you experience the energy, and you can go to the next level. It's like a video game. That's how I tell my students. Every time you have to up a level, you have to put some points into your thing. You know, into your kitty. So you expand your experience. If a simple person was to ask me, I would say you're getting irritated at everything. Learn to hold the experience without reaction. So you expand your mental body, your physical body, your emotional body, everything.
Alex Ferrari 19:51
Okay. So, so before I go into the deepness of of how you do the work you do, what after the experience? And then you're like, now you're a psychic medium. When did you even realize that you had these abilities? I mean, did they tell you to you in the the near death like experience where they're like, you will not be a psychic medium and you will teach others and you're going to be helping hundreds of 1000s of people around the world? Yes. But so they said that great. That's talk right now. Now what point they're the other side's talking? Yap yap yap! You're going to be a psychic medium. Great, fantastic. At what point did you actually get your first inclination that oh I, I, I now can speak to do what? Do you see Uncle Bob in the room? Like is that how you work? Do you hear it? Do you see it? Do you smell it? How does that work? And when it first happened to you, did it terrify you? Because it-if I saw Uncle Bob walking around in the room, it would terrify me.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 20:49
Oh yeah,
Alex Ferrari 20:51
Maybe not terrified, maybe not terrified, but it would have a few years ago for sure.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 20:56
Now you've evolved, and you can actually hold that experience. That that's done.
Alex Ferrari 21:00
By by, and by the way, I am not bring. I do not want to see Uncle Bob. I'm just putting that out there. I don't want to see him, even though I might be able to handle it. I'd rather not. But go ahead.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 21:11
That was clear. That was a clear disclaimer to the to the spirit world.
Alex Ferrari 21:15
Yes,
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 21:16
Boundaries, boundaries. So the first time I figured out I had psychic insights into psychic work is when one of my friends in the U.S. Thank God who understood what psychics are, told me that a lot of cases are put on Facebook, cold cases, and they take the help of psychics. And I said okay, and I applied in two or three, and there were some. The first one had 2300 comments, means it was a girl who was kidnapped, and 2300 people were trying to figure out the address of where she was. And how how confident would you be, Alex? You've just got a voice now saying you are this, and 2300 qualified people are writing the address. I didn't have the guts; my hands were shaking, and I said, "You know, this is crazy. And I asked him, "I said they won't come to India to arrest me just because I'm going to write what I think it is. He said, "No, no, no. He encouraged me a lot, and I and I wrote that, and it came from knowing what it was-a picture I could see, and a picture I could see where the girl was taken, and then there was blank. Later on, I came to know where there was blank was where she lost consciousness. So till I could connect to her consciousness, I could see, and then there was a blank. So till wherever I could see, I told them this is what I see. I got back a call about after two days, and I was terrified, terrified. I said, you know, I have nothing to do with this. I have very young children. Please spare me, because India doesn't have these things, right? I thought that they were telling me that I had a hand in, you know, getting her lost or something. So they said no, no, but but we have you know we are very intrigued by your information and all of that. So long story short, I worked on eight cases, six out of which I could solve. Two I told them I can't, and they later on told me that that person was no longer alive because I couldn't see anything. I just could not. So they said that am I interested in doing the work with them? They could work remotely. I was blown away, blown away, and they also figured one girl that they could save because of that information. That is when I knew that this was something serious, and I stopped going there. Now the question was okay, fine. All that is fine. It's Facebook. It's fine. Social media. Now who is going to come to you on a day-to-day basis? Everyone knows you as the head of sales of a MNC company, and now you're saying this is my laptop. This is me. Please come. Nobody would come. So that you know. So the the thing cracked at that time, but it was word of mouth. I tried. I started telling people something. But you know, the thing about psychic reading, Alex, is that things are going to happen in the future. How will anyone know today what I'm saying is right or not? So they would not give me references because the future had not yet happened.
Alex Ferrari 24:21
You need some time.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 24:23
Yeah, you need some time. And period of time, you need more people.
Alex Ferrari 24:27
Right. So this is what I find fascinating about your story, because you know the normal psychic path that I've and I've spoken to a few. The normal psychic path is you start with little readings, you start doing little things, and you build up your confidence. No, you went straight for missing missing children, kidnappings, and police reports, cold, and you just like that's how I'm starting the process, and that was what you needed to prove to you that you could actually be of service to people, as opposed to me coming to you and going. When am I going to find the love of my life? That that's the normal path. Yeah, that's the normal path. And you went,
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 25:05
And I said no to that. No, I skipped it. It was like a baby skip skipping the crawling stage and directly going into running, and I skipped that stage. And then after a few readings, they said, "But you're not here to do the readings. I said, "Then what? So they said, "Now you're here to teach. I said. Listen, I don't even have a normal client base. What will I teach? No, you got to teach, and you got to teach workshops, and you got to teach this thing called automatic writing. And that's when I I started my work in November. In February, I had my first automatic writing workshop directly to a workshop, and guess what? 10 people came, and it's like, wow! These guys have come now. I have to do something. I have to teach them, and I taught them whatever I knew. And I'm still connected with the people from my first batch. They are still available to give an interview to say how beautifully it, you know, and seamlessly it fell into their lap. The guides told me you don't have to create clients; you have to create spiritual sufficiency. So that's been my cornerstone, Alex. I teach people how to be their own guides.
Alex Ferrari 26:11
And you were talking about missing children. You're talking about missing children in the states. You were in India, if I'm if I'm if I'm correct. You were in India, and you and these are children missing in New York, so you're talking to the New York Police Department or FBI. Is it FBI or?
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 26:27
I don't know who would handle it, but I'm talking of social media messages that were coming
Alex Ferrari 26:34
Back and back. Jeez. Yes. When the information when the information comes to you, Manit. Is what do you feel? So you're seeing. So when it comes to missing children, it's almost like a remote viewing, but you're viewing it through the consciousness of the victim, or are you like seeing it from a perspective? Like I see the house now, but not through the eyes of the victim. I'm just shown the house. Is that how does it work? I'm just curious.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 27:06
Yes, yes. The first part is true. You see it. You're safe. You're seeing it like a movie, and then suddenly your heart is pumping very hard, and that is where your consciousness merges into the victim. Then you're seeing things at a little, you know, very closely, and then you to pull yourself back because I didn't know how to protect and have boundaries at that point in time. So I would unconsciously go into either being the victim or then being the spectator, and then so it was very uncomfortable, which is why I stopped doing this work. I just stopped. It was very difficult.
Alex Ferrari 27:40
Yeah. How did you? That's that's a that's something that happens very often in in missing children and and criminal cases and things like that because you're a human being and you're gonna feel and you're gonna. So it takes this very special kind of psychic medium to be able to do this work because it's it is it's very very difficult work emotionally and psychologically for you to deal with. Correct?
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 28:05
Very difficult, more than anything that I can share here on the podcast. It gives you sleepless nights. It gives you a lot of trauma even later. You start looking at things through a filter. So it was. This was over a period of two to three months, and then I decided I don't want to do this work. In any case, I moved on to workshops, and the moment I moved on to workshops, I realized that I'm a medium. Till then, I was only a psychic, and then one day I went to a friend's house, and her mother opened the door. She said I'm very unwell, and I said, "Okay, I'll come and see you, and it was after office. And I remember going from a meeting, and I went to her. Her mother opened the door, and there was this a distinct, you know, aroma of something cooking in the kitchen.
Alex Ferrari 28:53
Hey guys, I really hope you're enjoying this conversation. And the one thing I've noticed recently is that most of you are not subscribed to our YouTube channel, it's free and it really helps us out a lot. So if you haven't subscribed, please subscribe, like, and share this content so we can continue to help elevate the consciousness of the planet. Thank you so much, and let's get back to the conversation.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 29:16
And she told me that you know so and so is inside, and I went inside and all that, and we did the, you know. I said, "What's happening? What's happening with you? and all that. After about half an hour, she said, "You know, I'm really missing my mum. It's our death anniversary today. And I couldn't speak for some time, and I said, "You know, what does your mum look like? Because it could have been a mother-in-law who opened the door as well, but it was not the mother-in-law. It was the mother who opened the door, and I could not. I'm not joking. I called my driver and said, "I'm very unwell. Get the car. Let's go. It was very bad, Alex. It was very bad. I was so frightened. So frightened, I cannot tell you. It it was very difficult, and that's what I try to you know teach my students now that it can happen. You know, it it was very very difficult for me. And then
Alex Ferrari 30:17
Go ahead, go ahead, go ahead.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 30:18
And then I would see not everywhere, but I would see people. So, if you went to a hotel and you wanted to go to the washroom, I would perceive the queue to be far longer than it actually was. It could have just been two people, but I would see five or six people. And the people that I would see that were not humans later on, I came to know like they were wearing different dresses. You know, like olden times people used to wear slightly different dresses. Otherwise, you don't notice. You know, it's a queue. It's a queue. You're on your phone. It's a queue. You're waiting. But when you notice, now you're like, you know, you just want to poke. Now imagine poking a real person. He'll think you're nuts, so like, yeah, I'm standing here. Why are you poking me? So it was not easy. The initial days are not easy, and I I really tried to have a spiritual school. I researched everywhere. Everyone said it'll take you two years to develop your ability. Three year program. You have to physically come here. There was nothing simple for people, and I said, you know, if I crack this, I'm going to make it very simple for people. I'm going to tell them what to watch out for, what to do, and that's the work I started doing then.
Alex Ferrari 31:33
Okay, so I want to go back to the first one, the the mom opening the door. So that's interesting to me because I get that you saw them and that you see them, and and and I'll ask you some questions about that too. But the woman opening the door, or the spirit opening the door, that's physical interaction. So, did you actually was the door actually being opened, and you just walk through it, and then your friend was there, and she's like, "How did you get in the house, or how did that work? I'm just curious.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 32:04
Yeah, I rang the bell. Okay, the door opened. Now I I've tried remembering and rewinding this to figure out whether the lady opened the door, whether the servant opened the door. But when the door opened, I saw this lady standing there. That's what I got. Like you know, we are very busy with many things. But the door opened, and this lady was standing there. Whether she pulled it open or someone else did, I have no idea. She was there. So, like a normal this thing, I said, "Hello, auntie, how are you? She said, "Very good. You know, so and so is inside. I'm deliberately avoiding the name because my circle is small, and she said, "You know. I said, "How she? She called me. She she said inside.
Alex Ferrari 32:49
So she spoke to you. You heard her. She you heard her speaking to you.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 32:53
Yes.
Alex Ferrari 32:54
Interesting. That's interesting.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 32:56
Yes. Totally. And and and then that my friend told me that you know my mother's favorite. This thing was that same thing that I could smell in the kitchen. So I said, and you know, your mother has also cooked this. She looked at me. She says, "What are you talking about? And we went to the kitchen, and there was nothing. There was nothing. And I remember clearly that I could smell it. I was very hungry, and I thought maybe once I go inside, I'll tell her, please. Can I have some? There was nothing in the kitchen.
Alex Ferrari 33:24
Wow!
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 33:24
And then I asked. I said, "Why were you crying? She said, "Really missing my mum. I think it was her death anniversary or something. It was there. Something was there, and she said, "I'm missing my mum so much. And you know, she was sobbing, sobbing. And by the way, till then, neither did she know that I'm a medium. Neither did I know that she's a medium. But she still called me to comfort her. The exit from our house was scary because I imagine
Alex Ferrari 33:54
How did you sleep that night?
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 33:58
I just I said I didn't. I just told my father to sit on the chair. I sat on a sofa, and I I just and I told my guides. I said after today, if this happens to me, wait and watch. I remember being very angry, so they said, "Oh, no problem. You don't want to see it like that, okay? How do you want to see it? I said, "Listen, I don't want to see it only. I don't like this only. I'm not going to do this. So they said, no, no, that's not possible. So okay, how do you want to see it? I said like a like a blur, like a faded vision. I don't want to see its face or whatever. And trust me, till date, I see it like that with you. So what I want to tell you is that they listen to you. You can tell them that. Listen, I got really freaked out, and I cannot do this. And they say, oh, really? This is a very simple request, you know. Like for them, it's very ordinary. Right. Yeah.
Alex Ferrari 34:46
Coffee, coffee or tea. Yeah, coffee or tea. Yeah. Well, how would you like it? Exactly. Yeah. So, so now, so when you're walking around your daily life, do you see this this this blurry version of? Spirits all over the place, or do you have an on-offs like open and close operation? Like, what are your boundaries? Can you explain?
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 35:08
I close my chakras and I close my consciousness when I step out. Otherwise, I'll go mad. I try it very in my very excite excitement filled days. I'll go ahead and say, Okay, now, and I would be interviewing with someone, or I would be talking to someone, and as you know, Nani would come behind the grandmother, and I'd be like, "Do you have a lady in your house? And you know, some people would be like, "Wow, wow! And some people would be like, "Are you nuts? So I've had the cold shoulder also. Then I realized that no, you don't do this. You just don't do this. Yeah, but nobody told me, right? There was no book. There was no teacher. There was no.
Alex Ferrari 35:48
You haven't. You hadn't watched Next Level Soul yet.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 35:51
Yeah, I didn't know people believed in it. But yes, right. So yeah. So yeah. And now I'm very clear.
Alex Ferrari 36:02
Yeah, from my understanding, it's a big no-no to just walk up to strangers or be. Hey, do you know that your grandma's standing behind you? Like you don't. That's not a thing you should be doing unless they ask for it, and then, or if you have an indication, like if you were having a conversation with me, like we're at right now, and someone was behind me. Don't, don't. I'm not asking for it, but if you saw someone behind me, you might say, you know, during our interview, during our interview, I think your grandma was behind you, or your uncle Bob. I don't have an uncle Bob, but uncle Bob is behind you, and they have a message for you. That if you felt comfortable, or if you had an indication to do something like that, that would make sense. But you're in the supermarket. You don't walk up the stranger and go, "Did your mom just die because she's hanging out behind you?
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 36:46
I know what you're saying, but you know sometimes you don't realize. I went to a party, and now here I was with all my chakras closed, nothing all good, all good. And this lady, you know, she was. She said, "I want some wine, and I looked at her and I said, "You know, it's not going to make your stomach ache better, and I was like oh no, and she was like oh god. So yeah, those are that that has happened. That has happened. So sometimes you don't know, so you have to be very careful.
Alex Ferrari 37:12
And then what's the difference between the feeling you get in your body when it's a psychic message versus in a mediumship message, so they're very two different energies, to my understanding.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 37:26
A psychic message is usually preceded by a question. You make an inquiry and you get an answer. Mostly, unless you look at something and you feel an energy around it. You can feel the energy around a certain building or a person, which could be spirit telling you. A medium would experience the energy in a way that he has decoded for himself. For example, if I had a very strong message from a person who's passed over, I get tingling on my crown chakra, and sometimes in the beginning I used to also get a little bit of a push, saying, "Tell, tell. I would say, "Wait, wait, don't push me, wait. So, so every media habits has their own decoded signs, and I teach this to my students. But you know the. I'll tell you what the problem is. The problem is not in getting the message. The problem is the difference between a psych, a good psychic medium and an average psychic medium, is the level of discernment that you have. When you get the message, how much are you able to filter it from your own filters? Is it my filter speaking? Is it a message? Is it my fear speaking? Is it a message?
Alex Ferrari 38:48
Right.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 38:49
That is the main ability that you know separates the let's say the men from the boys. Here, that's that's important because every time you look at something and say, "Oh, I think you know, angel so and so is here. No, no, it's not there. Wait, you are imagining it. So there is imagination, there is fear, there is your own filter of experiences that you've gone through life, and you look at things in a certain way, and now you are giving it the name of a psychic message. So discernment is very important, but between a psychic message, which comes as an intuition, and an easy message, mediumship is more intense, is more connected to your body. You'll get goosebumps. You'll feel your body go cold, hot. Like I said, goosebumps on the skull. They'll tap you, and in some cases, you can. I feel a lot of pressure on the areas where their death would have happened. Like for example, in India, we say the praan would have gone from that place. Like even when I do mediumship sessions now, my chest would just squeeze, and I would say that this person's gone through a cardiac arrest. You know, whatever must have happened, or. Sometimes I would say, you know, my stomach-it's gone. But they said, no, he had a cardiac arrest. I said, no, the cardiac arrest would have happened later. The main cause of death was something that happened in the stomach. They're like, yeah, he had an accident and a pole went through it, and he could never recover from that. You know, but they won't give you that message. So, as a medium and a psychic, you would have those messages. You would have your own system of coding those messages. I would say,
Alex Ferrari 40:27
Yeah, because every system, every every psychic just deals with it a little bit differently. But the the biggest problem with psychics, mediums, even channels, is determining what is it. Your brain making it up? Is it your imagination making it up? It's all those things you said, or is it an actual message? And that's where the confusing part is. Is like you know when you're in a let's say in a meditative state and a conversation starts happening in your head. I'm like, am I actually speaking to someone, or is it, or is it me having a conversation with myself? You know, and I and I've heard different techniques to like. Well, does it sound like your voice? Not like verbally, but like the the way it's being put together. The words. Would you ever say that word? Would you ever put a sentence together like that? That's one way to to to see which is different. But what are they saying? How are they saying it? Is there any techniques that you have to really kind of figure out what is coming in? Are you making this up or not?
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 41:28
So I teach this in automatic writing, and I think a big way. Two things I would like to say here. One is that developing a very strong relationship with your spirit guides, so you don't directly go into you know who's speaking, etc. So, a very good relationship with your spirit guides. I have noticed that a vegan diet, the way you prepare your body, certain asanas, pranayams help you to get eventually your body into a state that it is more receptive to messages from higher consciousness rather than your own limiting messages. The second technique I want to talk About is to remember that spirit is never going to hold anybody responsible, or they are not going to have any negative messages for anyone else. Whereas our own mind, when we are talking, say, "Oh, this person's really negative. I must stay away from him. This can never be the message of spirit. So, spirit is always going to get give you messages that are more related to you know the spiritual values like balance, love, forgiveness. Then you say, "Oh, so bad to you. So, so that's the message between a you know ego and or your mind and a guide. But in the end, even to become a good medium, some. souls don't speak to you, Alex. They don't. Sometimes they are in such a depleted state that they cannot raise their level to the level that you are, and therefore a spirit guide is again needed to have a conversation with that with that soul. So either which way, if you want to develop your psychic abilities, you want to become a psychic medium, a good one. Develop a great relationship with your guides because they can go anywhere and everywhere and give you information about that place. And if you have a good relationship with them, you will know what they are trying to tell you. May not have the courage to do it, but you will know what they are saying, and you know how different it is. So over over a period of, I would say, two months, one can develop this ability very well and understand the difference. So it's not very tough.
Alex Ferrari 43:32
During your travels, have you? I'm fascinated because I've heard all this in the West, but I haven't heard it from India and the East, which is ghosts and negative spirits and that kind of you know stuff, where from my understanding and please correct me if I'm wrong, spirits or quote unquote ghosts that are lingering in a space are are not angry, but they've just decided to either be really attached to the let's say the space a house. Let's say a woman who lived in a house for 50 years, and that's her house. She doesn't want to go, and when it's time, the time for her soul to leave, and she dies, let's say in the house, she doesn't want to leave because she once she many don't know that they're dead. That's one I found. Two that they just choose. Like, I don't want to go anywhere. I want to stay here. This is my house. I want to see what's going on. And the hauntings or things like that are people who are are souls who are just angry that people are in their house. Like, get out of my house. This is my house. They don't understand real estate law. They don't get. They don't understand that if you you stop paying the taxes, it's not your house anymore. So, so what are your experiences with that? And did you actually have gone into haunted areas or encountered these kind of spirits in your work? Just curious.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 44:56
Yes, I have. I have. Much as we don't. Want to encounter them? I have, and I've got back one spirit with me from UK right into my house as well, which I figured out once had I was back from Oxford. Yeah, so there's a haunted village in India called Kuldhara. It's in Gujarat, and Kuldhara is a place where they said that you know there was a it was a very evolved and modern village where people used to stay with a lot of joy and happiness and one day one of the elders you know of the of the clan had a bad eye on the daughter of a very you know elderly person and he said that I'm going to take you hook or crook tomorrow morning. And they say that you know, out of grief, every person in Kodhara, the village was emptied overnight. So when you go there, yeah, and and the people were nowhere to be found. Now, isn't it strange that if people leave on foot or even on camels, how far can they go within a night? And they left things just as they were. You know, the fire was burning, the food was cooking, the clothes were exactly how they were. They didn't pack anything, and it's very fascinating because a lot of studies were you know, conducted on this that the it's called the Haunted Village, and when I had gone to Kulthara, forget going there, and of course I had an experience. I also did a couple of lights from there, but the experience of going to that place, Alex, was so intense that our car broke down, and you know the lady who was driving, my friend, she would she would just you know swerve the car into one area and say, "What are you doing? She says, "There's so many people. I'm going to kill them all. There was nobody there. So the journey itself into Kuldhara and Jasonev was very tough for us, and we had, of course, you know, of course, we had to travel in the night. It became night. Things got prolonged, so it was haunted. Yes, and there were two of our friends sitting in the back in the back seat in a moving car, and I'm talking of a very you know good heavy car. The door suddenly opened on the outside, and he's pulling the door from the inside, and it's okay. Someone's pulling it, and we are at a speed. Don't ask. So, and one doesn't think, you know, one thinks that one has done one's share of karma and debt with the souls that one releases. But no, no, no. There were people coming on the bonnet, on the bonnet, and you just feel, oh my God, I must turn the car because they are just going to come on me. So I've had that. And when we went to Kulthara the next day, I cannot tell you the energies that I felt over there. I didn't feel that the village left. I felt that everybody died. Now, how did they die? How did they disappear? That I don't know. So this is one. The second is when I traveled to Oxford, and we stayed at. I was presenting a paper there on the 10 goddesses, and we we had a good time. And I just kept feeling very uneasy, very uneasy, very uneasy when I came back, even during the flight back and all that. And because you know one doesn't do one's own clearing, etc. I got someone in after two weeks of being very sick and very anxious and heavy, and they had a machine. And when they ran that machine, it would again and again point out to one cupboard. So he says, "What's in this cupboard? I said, "I think clothes. And we opened the cupboard, and he says, "What's what's here? I said, "Shoes. And when we opened that, and those were the shoes that I had won there, and that spirit got attached and came here. He didn't want to do the tearing; he could only spot the spirit. So I spoke to it. It took me three days.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 48:59
It wanted certain things. Of course, he discarded the damn shoe, but it wouldn't have just gone like that. So yes, that was that was. So I do clearing of spirits as well. So I did that. He helped me, but you can carry spirits across nations, and you know, like he was saying, that spirits are you know, sometimes just indigenous to a place they are, and sometimes they will travel with you.
Alex Ferrari 49:24
Well, that's terrifying, but you can. You obviously could put out, you know, protection around you, and it. You have a lot of power, and you have a lot of light if you choose to to go towards it and to use it within yourself, you can surround yourself in a white bubble of white light or a circle of white light. There's many things that you can't do to protect yourself from those kind of things as you're walking. And obviously, you didn't walk in with protection. You didn't walk into Oxford, which, by the way, I love Oxford. I've been there. It's just I love that little. It's beautiful, beautiful town. But you walk in and you can protect yourself. So you didn't walk in. You're like, I'm going to Oxford. I'm doing a talk. You didn't think about it, and then you had to deal with it when you got back. But you're also also a beacon for this kind of stuff because you're a medium, correct? It doesn't happen to everybody like that, correct?
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 50:18
Well, Alex, I'm going to bust a myth here. People think that they can walk in with protection, and a spirit will not get attached to them. I'm not saying it doesn't work. I'm saying it doesn't always work.
Alex Ferrari 50:31
Oh yeah, that yeah, that makes sense. Yeah, you have to. There's a. It's a nuance, if you will. I'll tell you. I'll tell you something that happened to me is when I was in New York. I went back probably seven years ago. This is way before Next Level Soul, and I went to I went to Ground Zero where 911 happened, and I'll never I'll never forget it. And that's probably some of the. I mean, I've been to the Anne Frank Museum as well, and I felt a lot of heavy energy there. And and you know I've been to certain places where you feel energy, but I literally remember on the walking on the street and then stepping up onto the sidewalk of Ground Zero. The second I felt I stepped on it, this heavy, just almost molasses kind of energy was on me, and I just could like, and I was there, and I even then I was still I knew enough about you know I'm like you know what let me talk to my to God I'm like you know what just protect me from this this energy, but I walked into it and I and the for the rest of like the hour that we were in the museum and walking around, I was it felt so I was visceral. It was visceral in the air, and my wife felt it as well. And even my kids, who were young, they just like, you know, they were younger. They didn't feel it as much, but they felt something going on. They even mentioned it around it, but you just felt it, and the second you walked away from it, you were like, "Oh, okay, I feel, I feel lighter. But that's one experience that I remember very specifically that was so intense because so much death happened there, so much trauma happened on that spot. Can you explain to people what happens when something like that happens in a location, so like if there's mass death in a location, so people go to here in the states, the Gettysburg, where the war, the civil war happened. There was a big battle there. They go to the field, and they the energy there is apparently crazy. Auschwitz in Poland, people just say like, oh my, I mean so much death and destruction. What is actually happening on a metaphysical level to the area where this stuff is happening? How are these energies attaching themselves to it?
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 52:51
So what happens is that we have a choice in death. We have a choice. When death comes, we can either go into the light, or we can be very scared, or very angry, or very something, to not go. So that's part one. Some of the souls have not just crossed over; they are very angry and they got stuck there. The second thing is that when death is going to happen, those moments before death are so intense that there is so much of emotional vibration going on at that point in time, and for hundreds of people together, so that gets etched in the trees, the land, the buildings, the asphalt, everything that is around that. You know, energy goes and attaches itself there because energy cannot be created or destroyed. So what happens is what I have noticed it creates a sort of a sphere. The moment you step out of the sphere, you're like, but there is a sphere. There is an invisible circle. So even even if you go to Stonehenge, for example, you have that same intense experience. It's it's crazy. You just want to like pull out, you know, and they it creates that. So there's an electromagnetic vibration there, and because the souls are also trapped there, they're not really letting it go. It's a choice. You can't clear it because they are not choosing it. As a medium, I clear souls every day. I clear Earth souls every day, and I ask them. I said, "Do you want to go? There's a there's a queue. There's a one that says, "I want to go. There's there's some who say we don't go. I try to probe the ones who say we do not go. They just don't want to go. So spots like this then become you know the reservoirs for this kind of emotion. And the moment you go inside, is a fresh energy. It energy moves from high to low. So there is a flow.
Alex Ferrari 54:47
Now I want to jump to the topic of Shiva and Kali. You had two different. You had visions with these two. Now I always joke that Jesus is the hardest working man in show business because he's at everyone's near death. So he always shows up, and I've had one or two in the over 150 or so near or more near-death experiencers I've spoken to that I've had Indian gods come in and Shiva, Vishnu, you know, feelings like that. I'm fascinated. So please talk to me about. Let's talk about Shiva first, and then Kali, which is a new one for me. I haven't heard anyone having a vision of Kali because of who Kali is historically. So what was the vision of Shiva that you had, and how did it happen?
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 55:36
It was a dream, Alex, and it is one of the most profound and vivid dreams I've had in my life. I was at a very low stage in my life. I was planning to walk out of my marriage, and I told you eventually I did. And it was a very tough evening. I had gone to a Shiva temple. I was not much into temples. Being raised in a typical army background, one would just be a good human being and be done with it. So I've not come from a background of temples and rituals at all. But that night, I mean that evening, I went to a temple and I sat at a Shiva temple and I prayed for a very long time. What prayed? I was very sad. I spent a lot of time there. That night, when I came back home, I had a dream, and in that dream, I had Shiva who came. In that dream? I was sitting, and there's the idol of Shiva, and suddenly I feel that he stepped out of the idol and into my house, literally my house. And I'm like, "What are you doing? Who are you? He says, "I'm Shiva, and he's looking like a normal guy. And I'm like, "You're not Shiva. You're not wearing those clothes and all of that. He says, "But I am. Okay, I'll show you my other form, and he showed me that whole form. And he said, "Do you think I should roam around with you like this? I said, "Of course not. Please become a normal person. So he's wearing a pant and you know shirt and everything. And I'm like, "You can't be with me. He says, "I want to spend a day with you. I said, "You can't be with me. He says, "I can. He says, "I said no. People will know your Shiva, he said. "No, I'm very close like you. They will not know. And in that dream, Alex, I spent a whole day with him, and he told me. He says, "Whenever you go for a sales meeting, keep your right side, right seat empty for me. So on that day, he sat. I said, "You know why you sitting? They will think you're not from the place that I am from, he says. "But they can't see me. I said, "But you are sitting here, so I'm doing that whole meeting. Everything is happening till date. I leave my the chair on my right empty for Shiva till date. And we spent a whole day. And he said, "In the night, he says, 'Why are you going back home? This was way back when I didn't have kids. Why are you going back home? Let's go to a disc. I said, "Disc, God. I said, "Are you nuts? You are God. You're not supposed to be in discs. You're supposed to be in temples. He said, "Well, I'm the greatest dancer, and you know that the form of Shiva, who's a dancer, is called Nadraj, and we have we have a great evening and everything. We come back home, and I'm telling him. I said, "My husband's gonna come back now. Go, go back inside your statue. So he just looked at me very calmly, and I'll never forget his eyes. He said, "Never think that God is meant to be in a temple. Later on, you will do work that will take you to the world where you will teach people that spirituality is daily life. By then, by the way, I didn't even know what spirituality is, but I remember his words very clearly. And he said, "Your journey will start with me, but it will move to Shakti. I didn't know who's Kali, who's Shakti. I had no idea. So I said, "Okay, whatever. Now please go inside. You know, you're better off. I can relate to you when you're there. So I said, okay, but if ever you need me, just give me a call. And in that dream, then he goes back into the statue. Okay, dream. Okay, I got up in the morning, very profound and all of that. But like you said, then what do you just go to office.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 58:58
You just think it's a dream, and and that's but that's where my journey started. That's where it started. And whenever I have called him, he has. I'm not joking with you. Someone called Shiva will come into my office. Someone called Shiva will send me a message, and the work will be done. I don't call him very often. I just feel guilty. But it was surreal. So I really started Shiva. It started with no rituals. It started with nothing, pure consciousness.
Alex Ferrari 59:26
Let me ask you, because I'm because there's I think what 2000 different gods in the Hindu tradition. So it's difficult to keep them all in kind of order. Yeah, there's there's there's some that have much better PR people than others, so so you know them better. So there's Shiva, but there's Vishnu. The difference between I always confuse Shiva and Vishnu. What are the differences?
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 59:50
So there, yeah. So there are three main gods: Brahma, Vishnu. So Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. Brahma is the creator of the. Universe. He's the one who's created everything. The blueprint of the world is and the universe. Vishnu is the person who sort of runs the show. You know, he's the preserver. He's the one you go to when you don't have money. He's the one you talk to when all this
Alex Ferrari 1:00:16
And he's and he has the blue face.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 1:00:19
No, he doesn't have the blue face. He's the one who's sitting on, you know, under the Sheshna with his wife pressing his feet in an ocean, Lakshmi and Vishnu, right?
Alex Ferrari 1:00:28
Okay. Okay. Yes.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 1:00:30
So that's that's Vishnu, right? And then there is Shiva. Shiva is the destroyer. So Shiva has the third eye concept. Right. That when the third eye opens, you know, there's there's you know chaos and everything like that. So he's the destroyer. So the creator, the preserver, and the destroyer. So you go to Vishnu, yeah, balance. You go to Vishnu when you have things to do with emotions. When you have things like how do we live in this world, what to do, how's the political scenario, what should I do? You go to Shiva when you need to step away from the O Maya. O Maya is the luxury of life, the illusion of Maya, which is not just money but wealth and the whole illusion, the matrix, like we call it, the matrix. So Vishnu is the preserve of the matrix. You know what goes in, what comes out. Shiva says, "I don't have anything to do with this. Let me just walk my spiritual path. So Shiva is actually walking away from everything. He's not got any ornaments. He doesn't believe in any of that. So you go to Shiva when you want to just go into Shunya. Shunya means ground zero, literally ground zero. So that is Shiva. So my journey started from there, and his wife, a form of his wife is Kali.
Alex Ferrari 1:01:46
Of shiva's wife is Kali. Now Kali, Kali, from my understanding, is she's tough. She's just like meaning. It's a little, little, little rough around the edges. Like she's intense. Intense is a better word to use.
Speaker 1 1:02:02
She is intense. She is intense.
Alex Ferrari 1:02:04
So explain to to people who Kali is, and then how did you and how did your vision come to be?
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 1:02:11
Alex Kali means Kali. Kaal means time, right? So she is the mother of time. Shiva is the father of time, Mahakal and Mahakali . Kali is the frequency of a deity who destroys everything that is false. So basically, Kali creates a 2.0, 3.0 version of you. That's what she is. She upgrades your software all the time. So you're not living in tandem with your values. Not good. Destroy. Create a new manneth. Oh, not not not so good. Create a new one. So manneet goes through death, then becomes a new version of herself. Which means the dark night of the soul is kali. That's so kali. Yes. So you go through the pain, you transform, and you become nice. But you don't like it when you are going through that. So she controls the dark night of soul, and she is also black. The dark night of soul is also black. So black and black. I mean, and black is a white from any. Black is also the color of you know when the child is in the womb, or when the seed is being planted inside. So that color always signifies the birth of something new. Good, we are both in black,
Alex Ferrari 1:03:25
Right! Because without darkness, there is no light, and without light, there is no darkness. You need the two for each to exist, but the light comes out of darkness. But you need the darkness. That's the soil, if you will. All right. So then, how was your vision with Kali? How did that work? And were you scared? We used to.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 1:03:43
No, I was very irritated because she came in a dream and she said, "Look, it's Diwali time. And Diwali in India, there's a there's a day called Kali Jodas. Kali Jodas means the day of Kali. So she came three four days before and she said, "You know, you have to do a Kali puja. I was like, "I don't know you. I'm very scared of you. I'm going to make a mistake. I was not raised to handle a tough deity. I'm not going to do it. And she said, "No, no, you have to do it. I said, "Nobody will come. There are so many, you know, priests out there doing all those things. Why will anyone come to me? She said, "Just put it in your group, and people will come. I said, "And when they come, what am I going to do? She said, "Do a haven. A haven is, you know, when you light a fire with some intentions and rituals. Alex, again, I put it in the group, feeling like a fool. And in my little apartment at that point in time, I could accommodate about 15 to 20 people in the drawing room. 108 turned up within one day. They were littering at the elevator down. They were in the colony. They couldn't be seated, and I started something called the Kali Derbar from there, which is honoring Mahakali once a year through a special process. And it's been eight years of doing that now, planning to get it to other countries. So that's who Kali is for me, and she's also she's also one of the 10 Mahavidyas, the 10 goddesses of Shakti, and she's also related to Tantra. So the Academy of Tantra is based on the teachings of Kali, which says that anything that is false inside of you needs to die before you become a better version of yourself.
Alex Ferrari 1:05:25
Well, it's like it's it's an analogy of our body. Our body is being birthed and dying every second of every day. Cells are dying, cells are being born, organs are being replaced, skins being replaced. Like every it's constant as we age and as we continue
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 1:05:40
On the axis of time, right? 90 days, 60 days, 30 days, and the axis of time is kali day.
Alex Ferrari 1:05:48
Let me ask you a question from from someone outside of the Hindu culture and Hindu religion and all the the traditions of the Vedic traditions and all of that. Why do you have so many different deities and gods? Because as a Catholic, we got a whole lot too. I mean, we've got the big ones. We got the great PR people, but but we have a lot of saints. We have angels. We have. I mean, there's a ton as well on us. But I think the Hindus have cornered the market of the most deities of any religion.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 1:06:25
Absolutely, absolutely.
Alex Ferrari 1:06:28
Why? Why is why is that culturally and historically? Why do you need so many? Because there seems to be. I mean, there's a saint for almost anything in in the Catholic tradition, but in Hindu, there just seems to be so many different deities that do different things. It's it's even the Greeks had nothing on you guys. You know there was there was not that many gods in Greece either. So why is I'm just curious where it comes from.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 1:06:54
I can only answer this from an energetic perspective, but it's a beautiful question. I think India and Indians have an entire spectrum of emotions and sensitivity towards a lot of things, and therefore, and you know, Alex, these deities are frequencies. So, if Kali is the frequency of transformation, Krishna is the frequency of love, and I think because we feel every emotion so intensely, we relate to so many emotions on the spectrum that we have an expression of that emotion is the deity. For example, there's a deity for rain, and I typically think that you know when India was a land that required rain as its main, you know, for its crop, we had a deity for rain. But it's not that a deity is meant to do something for you. I don't think so. I think a deity is an expression of something. Like a deity like Lakshmi is the expression of abundance. A deity like Vishnu is the expression of, you know, the preserver. So Indians, I think, are they feel a lot, they express a lot. It's a culturally very rich place, and very democratic. So you know, every region will also have its own regional deity. So even if in a yeah, so you you got to also create the regional deity to protect because the land typically belongs to the regional deity. We call it the Shetrapa. So we honor so many energies inside and outside us that I think, in a way, it's beautiful, unless it becomes sheer based and ritualistic. I think it's great to have emotions and expressions, but if it becomes laden with oh, if you didn't do this, this would happen. That I think is horrible, and that is not something that is deity based. I think that's something that is society based, as you know. Sometimes the priests would do create fear in people, which is I think the worst thing to do. Which is very prevalent in India. Oh, you don't fast on this day, this will happen. You don't light a lamp like this, this will happen. That's exhausting, and I think from there, yeah, yeah. I think it's we need to understand it as energy.
Alex Ferrari 1:09:23
Yes, if you don't go to church on Good Friday or on Ash Wednesday or this or that, this will happen or that'll happen, and it's just like really, really,
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 1:09:23
God is not sitting there to punish us. I firmly believe that God is an observer. It's an energetic observer, like you know. May I live as a mountain, right? It's an observer. It's listening to a podcast, but that's it.
Alex Ferrari 1:09:36
Yeah, it doesn't make any sense. And for people listening, it just you know, 20,000 years ago, there were humans. There were humans on the planet. What what they were doing is up for debate. Was there an Atlantis up for debate? Was there ancient civilizations? Sure, whatever. But there were human beings on the planet. That's not deniable. So if they did in fact. On a certain day back then, they didn't know about it because it hadn't been developed yet. So what happened to all those souls? Well, all that, and you know, they didn't. There was no Good Friday. There was no Good Fridays. There was no Jesus. There was no Buddha. There was there was no Ra. There was no ISIS. There was none of that stuff 20,000 years ago. So all these rules that have been created by religion. What happened to all the souls prior to religion?
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 1:10:23
The rules that are being created by religion are to control man. They are not fasting. No one is interested, by the way. I don't think I I don't think that that it's important to you know exhaust people with fear. Fear has become a selling point, you know, and religion and fear have been used for the longest time across the world to control people, their emotions, and of course,
Alex Ferrari 1:10:50
The the the the the dinero, as they say. Manmit, where can people find out more about you and the amazing work you're doing in the world?
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 1:11:00
On my website and in my book that is coming in the spring of 2027.
Alex Ferrari 1:11:10
What can you give you the website? What's the website? I'm I'm trying to help you. What's your website URL?
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 1:11:17
I'm a very reclusive person, so I'm trying hard not to say it's manmitkumarr.com M A N M I T K U M A double R.com, and that's where I post my blogs. And yeah, I'm I'm happy to be on your podcast, but I'm very reclusive otherwise, so I don't market myself well. I think.
Alex Ferrari 1:11:39
Well, well, I appreciate you being on the show, and I will put a link to that on the show notes as well for everybody to go to. Yeah, you don't do a lot of podcasts; it's not something that you do often. You do a few here and there, right? But not many.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 1:11:54
I'm increasing that. I'm trying to work hard on it. I'm, I'm trying. A lot of my work, Alex, takes me into the depths of consciousness where I don't actually want to emerge from. It's very nice. It's deep. It's a lot of conversation with the spirit guides. I want to say this: that it's very difficult to maintain two identities, and eventually you will notice that mystics will go eventually into their inner identity, it becomes very difficult for them to have a very you know showbiz kind of a thing, and then you know it's very difficult to switch. I can't explain. So half your life is running on calendars, and trust me, the rest half is you know with with your guides and the downloads that you're receiving from them, and you know, planning courses and content and all of that. So it's like you're living two lives.
Alex Ferrari 1:12:45
Yeah, very much so. And you, one thing I had the other day, I had an Indian guru who came onto the show, and he said something that floored me. And I'd love to hear your thoughts about this because he's his name is Guru Nath. He's very well known in in India, and he's starting to become more well known here in the states. And I adore him. He's a wonderful man. But when he came into the studio, he's like, "Do you have any garbage food? And I thought I was like, "What do you? Because we have mostly healthy food in the in the studio because we're health conscious, and he's like, "I need garbage food. I need something to ground me, because if not, I go off to like you were saying that you like you go to places out of consciousness that you don't want to come back. He's like, "I need something to ground me because sometimes I'll just go and I I don't want to come back. So the garbage food actually it almost anchors him to the earth or to the physical realm, so he doesn't fly off in a certain way. It's like a grounding, and we kind of go, "Well, what's what's garbage food? And he's like, "Do you have a Snickers bar? And I'm like, "Oh my God, no, we don't. We will next time you come. I'll make sure to have plenty of garbage food for you next time. We found him some chocolate cover pomegranates, and he was like, "That'll do. It's just fascinating. Is that is that makes sense to you? Is that something that that what do you think of that?
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 1:14:12
I think grounding is very important. One tends to either go into your own, like he said, go off. You could you could be having a conversation here, and I could have another window in my mind where there's another conversation going on. So he grounds himself like that. I ground before every conversation. I ground with my own mantras and with my own hand actions. So my hands are not visible here, but they are actions that I'm continuously doing here to to remain here. So it's it's a fact. It's not like I said, and you know, eventually, please notice everybody will eventually go within themselves and then become less whatever. The only reason why many of us, at least I come on a podcast, is because I want to tell people that tantra is real. It's easy. It's not something that you need to be afraid of, and really get the Sanatan wisdom and the. Wisdom to a common man and make him less dependent on other people. You become a psychic medium on your own. Why can't you be sufficient? So my teaching mode is on all the time, and so I want to tell people that listen, don't be dependent. It's nice to go once in a while a spiritually sufficient society. But yes, so I don't have garbage food. I have my you know hand gestures and my mantras to drown me, but that's true. What he said,
Alex Ferrari 1:15:25
Very cool. Manmit, it's been such a pleasure meeting you. If during your next when you when you have your book tour, if you come to the states, please, if you can make it to Austin, we would love to have you in the studio. It would be a pleasure to meet and to have you here. But thank you so much for being here. Thank you for all the work you're doing to awaken the planet, I appreciate you.
Dr. Manmit Kumarr 1:15:43
Thank you, Alex. Thank you. It was a pleasure being here. Thank you.
