Indigo children are souls said to be born with an indigo aura and a strong sense of purpose, sensitive, intuitive and strong willed, who come to challenge outdated systems and help change the world.
Why It Matters
Indigo children began with Nancy Ann Tappe, who described seeing indigo in the auras of certain children. Lee Carroll and Jan Tober then launched the whole Indigo Children movement with their book, and the idea spread worldwide. They are said to be intuitive, determined and driven by purpose.
